April/May DEAL! Partial ocean view condo with pool & just steps to beach.

Kihei Kai #14! This 2nd floor 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo is a popular vacation rental with many repeat visitors year after year.

Sugar Beach Bakery, Farmer’s Market, ABC Store & Ululani’s Hawaiian Shave Ice are just a few minute walk via street or beach. Conveniently located less than 15 miles from OGG airport, Maui Ocean Center, Maui Brewing Company and more. Easy access from here to all Maui has to offer!

The bedroom has a king size bed and the living room has a sofa sleeper with a queen size pullout bed. (Though we've purchased the best sofa sleeper we can find on island, please keep in mind it is in the end, a sofa sleeper and is probably best for children and not adults.)

There is a separate A/C unit in both the bedroom and living room. A well equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals. Furnished lanai with a small, partial ocean view (exact view varies with landscaping maintenance) and lush tropical landscape is the perfect place to enjoy coffee, cocktails, dining or simply to enjoy the ocean breeze.

There is a gated pool and two separate bbq areas, as well as a grassy lounge area by the beach. The beachfront lawn area has lounge chairs, umbrellas as well as tables for dining outside or to enjoy watching the incredible Maui sunsets or the Humpback whales as they frolic offshore (seasonal). These areas are shared with the other guests in this low-density complex (only 24 units total).

Communal pay-to-use washer and dryers are available for guest use on the lower level of the complex. Machines are paid for and operated via a cell phone app.

Free, private WiFi available in the condo.

Beach towels, cooler and beach chairs available for our guest's use. Left behind umbrellas and toys such as boogie boards and snorkel gear may be available from prior guests, but availability and condition are not guaranteed.

**We are located on the second floor of our building, which is the top floor. There are no elevators on property and our condo is only accessible by stairs.**

Had a lovely time!
The condo was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. Any issue or information we needed was given in a timely manner. We felt welcomed and the neighbours were all friendly.

Very clean and comfortable
This condo is perfect for any couple wanting to visit and stay in Maui. The condo is newly renovated, very very clean, stocked perfectly, super comfortable and in a great location. Sugar beach is a great walking beach, less busy then most. The condo is right on the water, the view of the ocean is better then what the pictures show. This was our 5th year in Maui, and have always used VRBO, this was our cleanest, condo yet, the air pump AC system was amazing, quite, and really cooled the condo down. We have nothing bad to say about the condo. Only advice for ppl looking to stay here would be that it is perfect for a couple. It would be tough to stay in this condo with a larger family or two couples. We would stay here again no questions asked.

Everything You Need in a Rental
Erin's place was perfect. Though an older property and unit, both were very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need - my husband is a professional chef and he was very impressed with the kitchen offerings. The large lanai was perfect for private lounging in the mornings and afternoons and was loaded with beach equipment. The other guests and regular residents on this intimate property were incredibly friendly - we must have been invited a dozen times, by different folks, to join in the generous Pupu Party, which we happily attended. Our only issue is with the beach itself. We knew it wasn't going to be as clear (water-wise) as other beaches on Maui, which would not normally bother us; however, we were advised by a few native Hawaiians not to swim there because it doesn't just look cloudy but is actually unclean - due to the nature reserve and effluent running into the sea. We choose to heed their warnings. Still a great beach to walk on and the pool was on-hand for a plunge. We also had no issue jumping into the car for a quick drive to other beaches. If we were to return to Maui, we would happily stay in one of Erin's properties!

Smaller complex means less crowds. It is a short and easy walk from the parking lot - no parking garages, elevators or long hallways to get from your car to the condo or from condo to the beach.
