5 Minutes from Stowe Mountain Resort; a very spacious and well appointed home

Location, Location, Location!!! This 4 bedroom , 2 1/2 bath home is nestled in the woods , but only 5 minutes to Mount Mansfield and 10 minutes to Stowe Village.
Relax in front of the large fireplace in a spacious family room, or play a game of ping pong down in the rec room. Too sore from skiing? Enjoy some time in the steam sauna. want a little outdoor relaxation? sit on our deck and enjoy the foliage The first floor is complemented by large eat in kitchen, a front foyer for all your gear (with a powder room right off the foyer), and rounding out the first floor is the master bedroom with its own bathroom. The lower level features three bedrooms, the rec room as well as the sauna, and a laundry room for your convenience. The front entrance features a covered porch with a driveway leading right up to for easy loading of all your ski gear. Wi-fi is complementary, as is satellite TV. Note: this is a stand alone home with an attached duplex unit. **Recently added upgraded internet speed, enhanced Wi-Fi capability and Apple TV (in addition to existing satellite TV).

Perfect place and location!
As others have said, the pictures in winter don't do it justice, especially for a summer stay. The location is ideal, lots of board games and a ping-pong table for family fun, HUGE backyard. Not walking distance to much but close drive to everything! Shout out to Sir Charles Antiques in Stowe, a PHENOMENAL find, almost a museum. Mostly too pricy for ordinary people but amazing for an afternoon browse! Mini golf was fun, as was the Gondola ($$) All in all, a great family trip.

It hit all the musts and wants. Don’t let the picture of the outside of the house fool or distract you. It is spacious inside and very well appointed

Great for a couple families
Terrific stay… had two families (4 adults and 4 kids) in town for a ski weekend. House was better than advertised, stayed cozy and warm during some sub-zero days, and was excellent proximity to both Stowe town and the resort. Wished we had more time to explore, would be happy to stay here again to do so. Thanks Karen!

Perfect for a family ski trip
This is a great property that's perfect for a family trip to Stowe. The whole experience was wonderful. Helpful hosts. GREAT location. The house has a great flow that isn't fully captured in the photos. The living room & fireplace is cozy and perfect for a group. It's a hidden gem.

This was the 2nd time staying at this property. I'm hesitant to share what a positive experience it was because it will be harder to book again next year :-). Everything you could need for a landing and gathering spot when skiing. Perfect for two familes!

We had a great stay at Tall Pines. House was well equipped with plenty of room for 8 people. Great location to Stowe and the neighbors could not have been nicer.

Wonderful Home & Location
A group of friends stayed at this house to celebrate my wife's birthday. This house is larger and more accommodating than depicted in the listing. We had a wonderful time and the owners were extremely accommodating throughout our stay! Definitely would stay again.

This was a very nice house, our favorite ski house we have rented over the years. Everything was very clean and well equipped. We would gladly rent this house again.

Great Stowe Stay
We had a great stay at Karen & Michael's place in Stowe. Location is just about halfway between the resort and the town, convenient to both. The kitchen and cabinets were very well stocked. The fireplace and huge sectional sofa were great, and the ample supply of well-seasoned firewood is a major bonus. Comfy beds and lots of linens. Good bedrooms separation and quiet, too, for parents and teens on different sleep schedules! There's a duplex neighbor as other reviews have mentioned, but she was quiet and super-friendly; we really wouldn't have known she was there but for the Christmas Eve-Eve campfire she invited us to share. Overall great place and stay, thank you.

We loved the place. Great decor and Michael and Karen have put a lot of love and care into the property. The place is safe and there are a lot of kitchen appliances, good wifi, very clean and good vibes. The property has another tenant in her own room with a separate entry, who was very sweet.

Comfortable and spacious home
Spacious home with a well-equipped and well-stocked kitchen and a very comfortable living room for our annual family vacation. The house feels very secluded with all the trees providing a quiet retreat at the end of a long day sightseeing. Contact with the owner was always easy and pleasant.

My friends and I had an amazing stay! It was perfectly clean, an impressively stocked kitchen, only 10minutes from the base of Stowe’s ski resort.

Great house in Stowe!
Mike and Karen were great hosts. The house was clean, well equipped and a fantastic location for skiing. What a great fireplace with plenty of wood. Could accommodate a bigger family or 2 smaller families. The ping pong table and sauna were a nice addition. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to ho back again.
