Private beach boardwalk, shared with the ground floor duplex (Tide Together - Low), has rinsing shower and additional sundeck with built-in benches closer to the beach. Enjoy indoor/outdoor dining, outdoor patio with firepit and grill, fully equipped kitchen, and sun room TV den.

Combined, Tide Together - High and Tide Together - Low can sleep 18 people – ideal for families who want to vacation together but in separate private quarters!

IMPROVEMENTS: The new owners of this beach front duplex are excited about sharing their home with travelers and look forward to hearing feedback as they make future plans. Recent improvements include expanding the outdoor living experience (see images), new boards on the boardwalk, fresh exterior caulking and paint, new roof shingles, and a rope hammock on both porches.

HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping service are additional costs for monthly stays.

LENGTH OF STAY: Saturday to Saturday in summer. Partial week stays may be considered for last minute bookings. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.

DOG FRIENDLY: This Dog Friendly home invites you to bring the whole family. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their dog. Guests bringing a dog must make it known at the time of booking and will be required to pay additional rent. Maximum 2 dogs. Dogs are allowed on the beach during daylight hours and must be leashed.

DISCLOSURE: Two outdoor cameras - one faces the ocean, the other faces the parking lot.

We love pawleys island
We are a fun group of golfers coming to play some local courses and fish. (Ages 32-58) This is our second trip to Pawleys this year. The property was in the perfect location with great views and access to the beach. If this weren’t thru Litchfield real estate I would book again on that alone. The problems: The management co has a bait and switch pricing method where after booking they require a credit card for linens . The ladies at check in were very rude and grumpy and one was rolling her eyes at me. Very very unwelcoming experience. The owners showed up mid trip to stay in the lower level unit. However, this was to work on the property. Imagine being hung over after a fun golf trip and you have saws and power tool blaring below while trying to sleep. It was a bit much. Just block the dates if you need to work on it. Maintenance . On arrival it’s sprung upon me that there is no heat at the property because they haven’t turned it on for the season and wanted to send someone out to do it. I agreed to 8am. I see the guy in the parking lot and invite him up when I’m informed “8am!? Mam this is an all day job. I’ll need to be able to access in and out of the house until at least noon and then the second unit” to which I politely asked for them to reschedule because we have our dog with us and a tee time and don’t want them in and out of the house with our stuff unattended. The beds were horribly uncomfortable. We all swapped beds 3-4x during the stay and used the hammock and it turns out they’re all that way. Like you have to put your pillows on the foot board side..unless you like to sleep in reverse trendeleburg. “Pet friendly” so it’s advertised as pet friendly. But then it’s a $200 pet fee, then it’s signs everywhere that say, keep pets off all furniture and couches and beds or pay fines. So no.. pet friendly is a bit of an exaggeration. Overall it was a good stay and the owners definitely care about their property and have spent time to make it nice. It was just the above that detracted from it and we all left a day early.

Great location, great view and porch. Beds are uncomfortable. Somehow slanted, lower at the head. One bathroom is renovated and great, the other is very dated, and the bathtub is so narrow that it’s hard to take a shower. The kitchen is very nice but not set up for cooking. No coffee, or tea, or salt and pepper in the house. But we had a great time

The Pawleys Island/Litchfield Beach area is known locally as the Waccamaw Neck. Pawleys Island, known for its “arrogantly shabby” character, encompasses Litchfield but has its own beach – and island – where it splits away from the south end of Litchfield Beach. The relaxing ebb and flow of the tide sets the pace of our Lowcountry coastal region of South Carolina where getting on Island Time comes naturally.

Outdoor activities are a great way to experience the unique beauty of the area. Locals and visitors alike enjoy surf fishing, deep sea fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, surfing, boating, bicycling, and beach combing – just to name a few. Only a few miles north is Brookgreen Gardens. Considered a local treasure, Brookgreen displays world renowned sculpture amidst acres of lush gardens and majestic oaks and offers miles of walking paths through what once was a working rice plantation. It is also home to the only accredited zoo on the Carolina coast, where you will see rescued native animals in their natural habitats.

Myrtle Beach, only 20 miles north, and Charleston, 75 miles south, make great day trips. And for those who truly want to get away from it all, simply stake out a spot of your own on the beautiful Pawleys Island beach!
