About this property

Beautiful Mountain Views with Covered Porch & Outdoor Fire Ring!

Beautiful Mountain Views with Covered Porch and Outdoor Fire Ring. Only 3 miles from downtown Bryson City!

The space:
Easy access and a cozy single-story design have made the Bobcat cabin a favorite among our guests. Enjoy long-range views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park from the covered porch or out under the stars around the campfire. Spacious master bath with whirlpool for two adjoins the master bedroom with king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a private bath. The third bedroom has a queen size bed. The 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin sleeps up to 6.

The Bobcat and Coyote cabins have similar design and features. These two cabins work well with one another when one cabin just won't do.

No matter what the season, there is nothing as beautiful as a mountain sunset. All of our ridge top cabins offer wonderful views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Be adventurous and take a hike from the ridgetop trail down through the woods to the creekside trail below. Get outdoors in a rocker on the porch or relax under the stars around the campfire.

This cabin has it all, with more amenities than we can list:

Central A/C, heat
Gas log fireplace
Satellite TV
Full kitchen
Two full baths
Linens, towels
Porch rockers
Charcoal grill
Outdoor campfire area
Firewood
washer/dryer

Fall motorcycle vacation
The property was as advertised and it was very clean and comfortable. The owners were great and extremely helpful! Great location for day trips riding motorcycles. If your pulling a trailer plan on unloading at the office and leaving the trailer in the Office parking lot. The owner’s assistant Steve, was amazing he not only provided day trip suggestions he also helped a rider unfamiliar with mountain driveways pick up his bike and get him back on the road. We enjoyed the close proximity to the city and the seclusion of the cabin location. Thanks, Aaron Jacksonville, Florida

Nice relaxing getaway
Cabin was easy to find once we knew where we needed to go. Not a true log cabin, but was very nice & cozy! Had a nice little view, enough to see haze coming up off in the distance. Fire pit was a nice bonus when it wasn't raining, but when it was, we sat on the back porch just listening to the rain & talking. The rocking chairs were comfortable to sit in. You couldn't see or really hear the cabin that was below us, the Coyote or the cabins above us, very peaceful! Robin was very responsive when we needed directions or the fire place needed attention. Was nice to have a hiking trail right there but was very strenuous to come back up, but I had fun. Close enough to town or to Deep Creek Falls & The Road to Nowhere, perfect location. If we were to go back, would stay again. Thank you for a wonderful getaway.

We became a part of Bryson City and its people in July of 1999 when we purchased the property that would become Lands Creek Log Cabins. As with many of our friends, we’d visit the Great Smoky Mountains as often as we could and each time it was tougher to go back home. From the first time we drove into this valley and alongside Lands Creek we knew we were meant to be here.

Robin moved up to start working on the site and building cabins in July of 2000. Sue, along with sons Josh and Kyle followed in June 2001. What later became the Squirrel’s Nest Cabin was the only cabin here when we began.

Lands Creek Log Cabins is a business built by the efforts and belief of family and friends. It is a true “family business” in every sense.

By the efforts of many we have grown a great deal in our time. Our grounds are now at 100 acres and the home to 19 wonderful cabins and The Lands Creek Lodge. At the center of it and down by the creek is Harmony Hall.

As we have grown, we have had one goal at the foundation of our business: To touch peoples’ lives in a positive way and to provide the opportunity for memories.

— Robin & Sue Fronrath
