About this property

This super clean one bedroom cabin, is located just across the street from Upper Klamath Lake, in Rocky Point.

It's truly a hub for adventure, because from here... you can go and see some amazing things! Whether walking across the street to Harriman Springs or taking an hour long trek to Crater Lake National Park.

Anglers won't want to miss the amazing fishing at Pelican Bay, which is home to some of the largest trout on the continent. This is truly a fly-fisherman’s paradise.

Canoeing and kayaking enthusiasts can follow trails that roam throughout the marshes and waterways of Upper Klamath Lake, featuring a 9.5 mile kayak trail system.

Upper Klamath Lake is almost 30 miles long and up to eight miles wide with depths of up to 60 feet in some places. It's the largest freshwater body west of the Rocky Mountains and is easily one of the most beautiful and popular of all Oregon lakes.

Wildlife opportunities are outstanding here. You may get a chance to see waterfowl, otter, mink, deer, bald eagles, hawks and more!

Come and zip line, hike, climb, mountain bike, explore and more! In the winter, there's cross country skiing and snowmobiling on Pelican Butte, and you can take off right from the cabin! Or just come up and play in the snow and get into that festive holiday mood going!

Thanks for reading!

PS... We have a 220 plug in to charge electric vehicles.

Cute small home for your stay
The place is very clean, nicely furnished (even brochures in the bedroom, for local fun!), kitchen has everything, nice big fridge, small set-out exterior seating area at rear. Comfy bed. A couple of be awares for specific demographics. 1) If you are a bit unsteady, the owners have slip-strips between the bedroom and bathroom but there is a slope that can be disconcerting at night with no light. 2) if you are seeking a serene, alone in the silent woods experience, this isn't one. Neighbors, including owner, are nice and generally quiet but there are barking dogs, and people in houses and cabins close by. This latter, that you are not in the middle of Nowhere, is part of the 'close to the local resort' that is such a PLUS - you can rent canoes and boats, and are closer to 'civilization' when you need it. So, not an issue, just to make sure that the wilderness crowd doesn't get confused. We came for the annular eclipse, October '23, and had a brilliant location down at the boat dock, clear sky to the east. Great location to watch the sun come up, any morning!

Luxury in the Woods
Friendly, responsive host; next door if you need help but leaves you alone if you don’t. Very comfortable, plenty of room, full kitchen, tub-shower, washer & dryer, pet friendly. Great jump-off point for Klamath Lake & Crater Lake areas. Just passing through this time but would definitely spend some time here again.

Beautiful area
Very quiet neighborhood near the lake. Spent most of my time biking in the area. The cabin was way bigger than expected and nicely laid out. Very comfortable stay. Definitely recommended if in the area. For future guests, there isnt a real town for at least 30 minutes away (Klamath Falls) and most places close early. There is a convenient store about 5 min away though. Fun area if biking or hiking or water sports
