Sanibel by a small bridge, is 5 miles long; and Pine Island is 17 miles in length. Originally Captiva was part of Sanibel Island but when it was severed in 1926 by a hurricane's storm surge, Blind Pass was created separating the two islands. Beach Villa 2428 is located in the South Seas Resort, which offers guests 2.5 miles of beautiful beaches with stunning sunsets nightly. The resort offers a blend of hotel rooms, timeshares, and single ownership condominiums, beach villas, marina villas, tennis villas, and private beach homes.
