Wonderful property and location
These holiday cottages are in a simply wonderful location, quiet and away from it all whilst being close to many local activities. Plenty of nearby villages and beaches, with pubs serving great food at good prices. Whilst we booked Rock Mill Cottage we ended up in Newton Retreat, a fantastic place, set overlooking fields with their abundant wildlife. The host was great, friendly and informative upon arrival, then discreet but available if needed after that. We loved waking up to birdsong from the adjacent fields, looking out over the farmland, and the feeling of isolation. The weather could have been kinder - but could also have been much worse! We’d love to return some day.
