Lovely modern apartment, rural and sea views, Jacuzzi. Seaton/Beer nr Sidmouth

Wellfield Lodge is a lovely, light, modern apartment suitable for a couple who wish to explore Seaton and its surroundings and enjoy walking. It is adjacent to our home,Wellfield, on the edge of a quiet, established residential area of Seaton, backing on to the countryside. The accommodation is bright, airy and tastefully furnished.

Bedding and towels are provided. There is one double bedroom, with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers & French doors opening onto a small balcony with sea views. Off the bedroom is an en-suite with shower, washbasin and toilet. The living area and fully equipped kitchen are open plan and includes a gas cooker and fridge with freezer compartment. There is a two-seater sofa and armchair, with a coffee table, TV with DVD player. WiFi is available. French doors lead out onto a decking area with a wonderful view to the fields and woodland beyond. There is a table and chairs and two sun loungers. Steps down from the decking lead to a secluded private sunny patio with a four- person Jacuzzi hot tub for the exclusive use of guests. Off road parking on private drive.

Pet Policy
The totally enclosed patio area is suitable for dogs. Guests, by prior arrangement, are welcome to bring a small well-behaved neutered dog on condition that their pet

Wonderful property
This was our second stay at this property which is set in a relaxing location.There is a beautiful view of pastures from the rear of the property and a sea view from the front bedroom .Guests have the benefit of a very private and secluded garden with a hot tub for their sole use.We were very content just sitting and enjoying the garden and watching the bunnies in the meadow...Bliss!.The property is very well equipped ,cosy,clean and very comfortable.The location is ideal for exploring nearby Beer,lAxminster,Sidmouth and the stunning Branscombe beach .The hosts gave us a very warm welcome and kindly provided fresh milk and cookies for our arrival which was very much appreciated.Overall a beautiful property and really great hosts. I would highly recommend this property for a relaxing break.

Lovely apartment
Great location, a good base for visiting the local area. The apartment is fully equipped for your stay. Quite and relaxing. The garden is totally inclosed with hot tub which over looks fields. Friendly helpful owners.

A lovely lodge in a great Location
We had a great week in Seaton. The lodge has everything you need for a relaxing week. The owners are lovely and live on site but but are not intrusive. Views of the sea of which is only a ten minute walk. Just a great place to stay to explore East Devon. Then come home to a jacuzzi to relax in.

A great little property with lovely hosts. Everything you could need is in the property. Added bonus of hot tub too! Hosts very accommodating with regard to our dogs. A 5 minute walk to an enclosed dog field was a bonus too. 15 minute walk to sea front and a lovely little town. We have a very enjoyable relaxing week to unwind and recharge Thankyou!

What a beautiful place to stay! The Lodge is cozy and very well equipped with sea views at the front and fields at the back. It's tranquill an at the same time near to town and beach. Geoff was a very welcomming and helpful host. We've enjoyed breakfast in the spacious outside area and the hot tub was a real bonus. We can truely recommend the Lodge!

We had a lovely time staying at the property and every thing was just as the booking site said and so much more. Peace and quite with everything we needed . A home away from home
Perfect lodge in a tranquil location with so much to do around it. You’ll hear this a lot but I have to mention it, the hot-tub is amazing and needed for those long walks. The host was lovely and I can’t fault anything, would love to come back!

Great property for our week in East Devon. Lovely touch on arrival with milk, bread and biscuits. Fantastic walks along the coast from the door and welcome relaxing in the private hot tub afterwards. Easy access to Sidmouth and Lyme Regis for days out.

Fabulous holiday lodge
This is a great holiday lodge. It's above the double garage in the grounds of the owners' home. It's very well-equipped, the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need. It's in a quiet relaxing location and secluded from neighbours with sea views at the front and fields at the back. It's within coastal walks to Seaton and Beer. It's in a great location for visiting all the Dorset coastline and at the end of the day it's perfect for a dip in the hot tub. All in all, a brilliant experience for us, especially as we had 2 weeks of glorious sunshine.

My wife and I moved to Seaton in 2016 as we wanted a place by the sea without the congestion of Lyme Regis and Sidmouth in the peak holiday season. Seaton, with its quieter pace of life is ideal for us.

Why they chose this property

Seaton is situated between Sidmouth and Lyme Regis, both of which are easily accessible within twenty minutes by car. The Lodge is ideal for people looking for a quiet base and wanting a peaceful break with access to the Jurassic Coast, and the attractions of both East Devon, Dorset and South Somerset. There are numerous local attractions within a short drive such as Seaton Wetlands for bird-watching, the Jurassic Centre, Seaton Tramway, the Donkey Sanctuary and other nearby beaches at Beer and Branscombe. There are many excellent pubs serving good food within the locality, and there are two golf courses nearby. The famous Haynes Motor Museum is a little over an hour's drive away and Clark's Outlet Village in Street is also accessible.

What makes this property unique

Quiet and cosy. The beach at Seaton and South West Coastal Path are a ten minute walk away. The Lodge makes an ideal base for coastal and country walking and relaxing in the hot tub in the evening after walking is a distinct advantage.
