Ocean Pointe Suites in Tavernier mile marker 92, is an all-suite resort located directly on the Atlantic Ocean. Our 60 acres in the Florida Keys are part of a protected mangrove forest, entered through a private road and gatehouse. From sunrise to sunset you can enjoy the many activities our Florida Keys resort has to offer. Fine restaurants and shopping are just minutes away, along with boating, fishing, snorkeling, diving, Everglades eco-tours, glass bottom boat reef trips, parasailing, wave runners, and swimming with the dolphins. Everything you could want for your Florida Keys vacation is here!
We manage several units on the property. All units are uniquely decorated.

Hidden Gem
Check in was easy. We arrived at 3:30, so we stopped in the office to let them know we were close by. Had a cocktail at a nearby bar on the water. They texted us at 4:45 that our room was ready. We had a comfortable unit with the best location in the resort. Steps from the dock, pool, and a cute little beach area. The condo was older, but updated. There were a few issues, but the management and owner were very quick to respond. The kitchen had enough dishes for 6 and was stocked to prepare a simple meal. The restaurant was not open and there were no open bathrooms close to the beach area. The pool was heated and there were loungers and tables with umbrellas. We found out we had to get there early to get a spot. The place was pretty busy. If you're looking to dock your boat, it is very convenient. We enjoyed our stay!

Lovely but disappointing
The place could have been cleaner. The futon in the living room was grungy and uncomfortable. One of the hardest mattress we have slept on in quite awhile. The kitchen cooking setup was crap from a yard sale. This unit is not setup for extend stay; more than three days. The view and location were very wonderful.
