Hinch Creek Farm is a working farm. Interact with the goats. Pick Black berries or help collect Maple sap for Maple syrup in season. The cabin was in a great area surrounded by nature on the side of a mountain. There was no internet or cell service, but there was cable so we were able to watch the NBA playoffs without the distractions of our phones. The roads are very rough on the way to the cabin

Are you country enough?
The owners are quite nice and friendly. The road in is not for the faint of heart nor for those without an SUV. Of course the owners have no control over this but the ticks were absolutely horrible. Even with spray and careful inspection we dealt with many many many ticks! My only complaint about the house was that the twin bed mattress and foldable frame were in very poor condition.

This house was very cozy, clean and comfortable. For me and 3 of my adult daughters, it was perfect. The view was gorgeous. One issue, a small map of the roads would have been nice because the roads are not marked. Had some trouble finding places and there is no cell reception for gps. But 5 out of 5 stars!!!

Very basic cabin. Clean and comfy. The shower pressure is awful so they may want to change the shower head. We had a really great time! We spent the day at Blue Springs creek whic is pretty close.

Amazing secluded cabin!
The check in was very easy and the owners were very responsive to messages. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a weekend away! The cabin offers great privacy as it's surrounded by trees! It's really close to river access for the Meramec or Blue Springs creek. We can't wait to go back.

We celebrated our daughter’s 16th birthday with a weekend at this Hinch Creek cabin and had a wonderful time. Great little cabin equipped with almost everything you’ll need besides your clothes and food. Clean with a classic country feel. We’d love to come back!

We had a great time. It's secluded clean and quiet... road is a little rough getting in but they have that in their description. The ticks will pack u off even close to the cabin if you don't use big spray so I would highly suggest you bring some! Overall we had a great time.

Great Cabin
This is a great place to get away from it all. The cabin is off the beaten path yet close to a couple of amazing state parks. The furnishings are quite nice. There is a small tv for the moments when you just need to sit for a few. The goats are very friendly. My kids and I really enjoyed our stay.

My husband I celebrated our 22nd anniversary in this charming cabin. I had always wanted to rent a cabin with a fireplace. The area is beautiful and the hosts made sure we had everything we needed.
