Unpleasant Stay
After two weeks of sagging mattresses, my back was killing me after staying at this house. The mattresses were old, or cheap, or something.
Also, half way through the stay I got a message from the host that seemed very brusque, demanding 50% more money because we had more than two people. Our son was between apartments, so joined us, and it never even occurred to me that extra money would be required to add a third person to a three bedroom house - especially as we had already paid a considerable amount for a lengthy stay. Nonetheless, the tone of the host seemed accusatory, like we were trying to run some sort of scam, or something. Plus, implied in all of this is that we were being spied on by somebody.
The amenities were sparsely provided; very little toilet paper and no shampoo... The driveway is very steep as well, so entering the garage is impossible for many cars without bottoming out. The neighborhood is not in the best part of Rocklin.
Overall, an unpleasant stay.
