Truckee Family Fun
We had a great time at this house. Our family enjoyed the amenities, space and all the fun places on the property to play in the snow. Close to downtown Truckee and to the ski resorts. Easy check in and check out. We definitely would rent this home again.

Great yard to play
The home was clean, comfy and met all my family’s needs. We stay in this area every year and the back yard is the best of any we’ve stayed at. Kids were able to sled from the side yard to the back yard and had plenty of space to have a snowball fight, built snowman, etc. We didn’t use down stairs but tfw king bed and 2 twins upstairs were very comfy. Plenty of hot water! Never ran out. Feedback: More info on how to manage the house would have been nice. Many homes we stay in have a more lengthy welcome email or book when you arrive. This home had a few notes on the wall and that was about it. A very miner thing but would have been helpful and saved some time. Also, the pull out couch has an air mattress in it! Didn’t remake it til night 2. A note for that would be nifty. Kids would have loved it if the jets in the master bath worked. No utensil holder in the dishwasher made it difficult to fit all the dishes in. Never figured out the dvd player. Not sure it was even connected. We brought lots to watch so it was a bummer but the tv had Disney plus so that was enough. Also we learned to turn off the fire place around dinner time to allow upstairs to cool down before bed. It gets pretty toasty up there!

Nice Place, but NO Air conditioning
We rented during the summer and it wasn’t obvious to me that the house did not have air. The first night was almost unbearable. The house was SO hot. There were lots of fans but did not thing to help. The whole house fan was not turned on when we arrived so it took 24 hours to cool down. Management could have made it a better experience if the house fan was turned on before we arrived. Do not rent this place in the summer. Way too hot and not worth it for the cost.

Nice and convenient
7 of us stayed and all really enjoyed the property. It’s really close to the grocery store as well as bars and restaurants. The properties amenities are about 5 mins away and you use the guest pass and each person pays $16 to use them per day (all day use). I’d say the only two complaints we had was the air conditioning didn’t go throughout the house and not all of the bathrooms had fully stocked towels (we later found the towels in the dryer). We assume the housekeeping just forgot to put them away so it wasn’t a big deal for us. Overall we really like the property and it looks great as well.

Bright and clean
The home felt modern/updated and different than a lot of it's neighboring homes. It was big enough for my and my brother's family. It made for a great family vacation. The different floors gave a feel of privacy within the family. Everything looked nice.

Clean and dreamy
Stayed here for 3 nights with my wife and 2 children. Really enjoyed the stay and scenery. Contactless check in was a breeze. The house was immaculately clean and stocked with board games for the kids, and basic spices and supplies in the kitchen. We had a fantastic time wondering around the backyard woods during the snow. Snow shovels were provided in the garage (tight fit for our toyota sienna van, but we were able to fit nonetheless). Water pressure and temeperature in the bathroom/showers were great. We appreciated how basic bathroom supplies were in stock as well. Most importantly, I loved how no shoes were allowed in the house as we have the same rules in our own home in LA. We definitely look forward to staying here again in the future. Highly recommended.

Springbreak in Truckee
Overall, my family and I had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and had majority of everything we needed. The area was beautiful and close to town. Just a few minor issues, such as, the bathroom door on the main level tended to get stuck and it appears the there was a minor leak with the toilet in the first floor bathroom. The items didn't hinder our stay and I'm sure they would have gotten fixed if I had contacted the property management but we were too busy enjoying our vacation.

FYI the screen door out to patio came off track. there is a small leak under kitchen sink and in down stairs bathroom, also the electrical breaker for stove and microwave tripped off twice. We had a wonderful time and would stay there again, Thanks for having us. Dan & Sandy

Great family fun!
Our family just spent four nights at Valhalla. The house was clean and spacious. The WiFi worked great for our three kids’ distance learning and my husband’s work. The supplies were adequate, though I suggest bringing extra paper goods (napkins, paper towels, etc). The best part was all the space next to and behind the house for the kids to play. There was lots of snow and even a sled run down the hill. There were lots of sleds/disks in the garage. We had fun playing games in the evening too. There was only basic cable, so I’d suggest bringing a FireStick or laptop that can plug into the TV’s HDMI port if you want to access any video apps. We look forward to another stay at Valhalla.

Nice newish home very close to ski lifts for perfect kid friendly ski vacation
Well equipped (humidifiers, crib, nice stove, games, books, markers, etc) comfortable, non musty, not dusty perfect for family with young children or two families. We skied but also spend a lot of time in the back yard for snow play. We contacted the owners who responded quickly with help with a minor repair. Perfect backdrop to wonderful week.

Wonderful House
This 3 story home was well equipped and lovely. I would give it 10 stars if I could, except one thing, the guest bed. I gave this rental 4 stars because the guest queen bed on the bottom floor was absolutely awful. One of the most uneven beds with a huge lump in the middle and no support on the edges. The first night I slept on the side closest to the window and I couldn’t stay on the bed, I would roll off. I ended up sleeping with my youngest daughter on one of the twin beds in the next room. If this bed was replaced, I would happily return to this house and location for years to come. Besides the one issue, the stay was great. Hade everything we needed. The area around it was nice and the kids played in the backyard in the snow.

Wonderful home in outstanding location
Huge beautiful home with many nice refined touches, immaculately clean. Access to mountain biking and Nordic skiing right from the home. Two car garage and extra parking. Close to Truckee and Lake Tahoe for so many activities. Our family spent a week here and loved every minute!
