About this property

Most Luxurious Log Estate—10 BR's, Pool, Hot Tub, Total Privacy & Lake Access!

Privacy and nature. Great amenities and location. This luxury log home is situated on twenty acres and has everything you need to make your vacation one to remember. The estate has 10 bedrooms which sleep up to 28, surrounded by forest and close to the best Vermont has to offer. Swimming pool, lake access, hot tub, sauna, two entertainment rooms, a game room, and a fire pit, and AC in every room. Perfect for large families, a group of friends, or a corporate retreat, we know you will love this home!

We have recently installed 2 Gig Fiber Optic Internet, which means your group will have great speeds while enjoying rural Vermont!

The Space

The home has ten bedrooms spread across the main house and guest house, with seven full bathrooms and one half bathroom. The master bedroom is en-suite with a jacuzzi tub, and a private deck. The beds will have fresh linens and towels upon your arrival, and the home is cleaned and sanitized from top to bottom by a group of professionals after every stay.

In the main house are two entertainment rooms, each with a wood fireplace, huge flat screen TVs, and plenty of seating. The ground floor entertainment room also has a wet bar with a refrigerator and dishwasher, and the sauna, which has a custom-made white birch changing room.

The kitchen has professional quality appliances with two ovens, a refrigerator and a wine cooler, granite countertops, a Keurig and classic drip coffee machines, and is well stocked. Your chef will have the plates, cups, silverware, and cookware needed to prepare the feasts for your group.

In the guest house is two bedrooms and a wood-burning stove on the second floor, and the game room is on the first floor. The 2 Gig Fiber Optic Wi-Fi is super fast and the signal is strong throughout both houses.

Outside is the swimming pool, which is heated from late June to early September, and a hot tub which is available year-round and is serviced professionally every week. There is also a top-of-the-line huge gas barbeque and a smaller gas grill, plenty of furniture, and a fire pit. Two kayaks are also available for your group.

A very short drive (less than 1 minute) from the house is Harriman Reservoir, which has a landing for non-powered boats, picnic tables, a beach, swimming, fishing, and hiking trails.

For winter guests, the VAST network is also very close to the house.

We have a concierge service that would be more than happy to make your stay even more luxurious and relaxing. They can stock the home with groceries before you arrive, schedule private chefs, precooked meals, beer and wine tastings, schedule activities, bring in yoga instructors or massage therapists, and more. We will be happy to provide their contact information after a booking.

The Perfect Day

No matter what time of year your group decides to book our estate, there is plenty to do to fill up a day with adventure and relaxation.

After waking up, enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in the peace and quiet afforded by being surrounded by woods on all sides, then cook up a brunch while your group prepares for the day.

For warm-weather guests, you can head down to Harriman Reservoir, where there is a great beach for swimming, kayaking, fishing, lazing out in the sun on the grassy areas, or go for a hike on the trails. Golfers have several courses nearby to choose from, there are also boat rentals, tons of trails, and the ski mountains have plenty to do such as hiking, zip lining, and more. Or, you can have a relaxing day on the estate, go for a swim in the pool, a soak in the hot tub, spend some time in the game room while watching the game, and more.

For winter guests, Mount Snow is an excellent mountain and is only ten miles away. You can also spend the time at the estate with a fire in the fireplace, wrapped up in a blanket with a classic novel and a glass of red wine, go for a soak in the hot tub, a steam in the sauna, and then watch a movie on one of the several huge flat screen TVs.

After the day is done, light a fire in the fire pit and enjoy your favorite beverage as the crackling fire keeps you warm as the Vermont night encloses around you. Allow a private chef to cook you up a meal, grill your favorite meats and veggies on the barbeque, or head into Wilmington and have a dinner at any one of a number of great restaurants. Then it is off to bed for a great night’s sleep!

The Neighborhood

The location of this vacation home is absolutely incredible. Harriman Reservoir is a short walk or even shorter drive, with plenty of parking, a ramp to put in the kayaks, charcoal grills, picnic tables, hiking trails, and plenty of grass and beachfront.

Wilmington is a charming Vermont town with tons of great restaurants and bars, a downtown area to walk and explore with artisan and artist shops, a supermarket, all of which is a mere three minutes away by car.

Mount Snow is ten miles away, which means you will not spend your entire vacation in the car going to and from the mountains. Great year-round, there are trails, golfing, zip lining, and of course, skiing and snowboarding.

Berry picking season is from June to October, a real treat for kids and adults alike. Farms in the area are organic and have the freshest produce, eggs, meats, cheeses, and baked goods. You can pair your purchases with a wine or beer tasting set up by our concierge, or pick up a local selection in the nearby shops and stores. Blueberry festivals usually run from late July to early August.

Another great way to support the local economy is by visiting art galleries and shops, perfect for finding that thank you present for a house/pet sitter, or for friends and family who could not make it (sad for them!) Or find that perfect memento for your home or office, a great way to remember the amazing time you had in Vermont!

There is great fishing in the area as well. All fishers over the age of 16 require licenses, and when you pick them up, grab a copy of the Vermont Fish and Game magazine for a great resource on the best places to fish, as well as important information, rules, and regulations.

We know that you will enjoy your stay!

Please Note

We must be informed of all events on the property.

The pool is open from mid-May to mid-October, and heated from mid-June to mid-September, weather depending. We heat the pool up to 82 to 84 degrees, which is the maximum our equipment can support.

We have two outdoor security cameras on the property, one on the main house that looks down the driveway, and one on the guest house that covers both parking areas. They are there for your security and ours.

Reunion trip
We had a large group of adults and children stay at this beautiful home. Dmitry was an incredibly gracious and communicative host. He stocks the home more than most hosts which is so helpful (amazing touches like individual shampoo/conditioners in each bathroom) and is available at a moments notice for any question (ie we weren’t familiar with how to best adjust the heat). The house is also laid out incredibly well for large groups- if you travel with large parties you know how important that is!! Everyone has their own space but there is also plenty of wide open communal areas. The proximity to Mt Snow is amazing and additionally to things like a supermarket, coffee shop, etc. you feel like you are in your own peaceful oasis but can easily get to anything needed. We already reached out about planning our return before checkout! Bonus if you have littles - the driveway doubles as a great mini hill for sledding will the bigs are skiing at the mountain :)

Amazing Ski Vacation
Every year we get together with extended family for a new years ski vacation. House was very comfortable and fit everyone comfortably. Lots of room to spread out. Beds were very comfortable. The 3 laundry washers and 3 dryers were a great perk given our large group and wet ski clothes. Sauna and hot tub were amazing. Dmitry is very responsive and helpful! Highly recommend!

Simply Amazing Wilmington
This property is stunning! A fantastic secluded sanctuary with great amenities and plenty of space to spread out. We loved sitting by the pool, relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, and enjoying some games of pool in the evening. The property is also a 10 minute walk from the reservoir, which was beautiful as well. Great location with only a short drive to downtown Wilmington. We were sad to leave, but know we will definitely be back.

Why they chose this property

As soon as I saw this home during an open house, I knew I had to buy, it was a dream come true. I always wanted a log home estate in the Wilmington area, close to Harriman Reservoir and Mount Snow. Down a long driveway that makes its way through the woods, I could find peace in my own little enclave in the forest, while being near every activity Vermont has to offer year-round.

I knew this was a home away from home for my family and I, to spend some time together where we can breathe, get away from it all, but still be close to fun activities. My family and I will make memories here, and when I decided to share it and rent to others, I knew other families could make memories here too.

What makes this property unique

The home is walking distance to a great park on Harriman Reservoir, with beaches, picnic tables, great trails and an incredible vista over the water. Not to mention it is 5 minutes away from Wilmington with its great restaurants and downtown area, or 15 minutes to Mount Snow.

It has a large heated pool, with plenty of privacy. Hot tub, sauna, and plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax.

You can have any vacation you want here. If you like to be social, the towns and mountains are nearby. If you want to unplug and escape civilization, the home is surrounded on all sides by woods. Rustic, upscale, adventurous, relaxation, the choice is yours.
