Just a ten minute drive from Whiteface Mountain, this 1 bedroom modern Adirondack home offers everything you need to enjoy the perfect vacation. The living room is the perfect escape after a day of exploring featuring a 55" tv. The spacious fully equipped kitchen with all that is needed to prepare a delicious meal. Before bed, read a book and relax next to the fireplace. Outdoors enjoy the fire pit, or cook on the grill. Less than 23 minutes from all high peaks and Lake Placid.

Relaxing Anniversary Getaway
Although our trip was short, it very much exceeded expectations! The house was wonderful for my wife and I to separate ourselves from our hectic city lifestyle and gave us the chance to just slow down and appreciate having nothing scheduled for the day. Regardless of if we were hiking on the various local trails, sitting out back on the property gazing at the countless stars, or being lazy and doing puzzles in front of the fireplace, we had the opportunity to be re-grounded and re-energized. The house has absolutely everything you would need from countless puzzles and board games to local publications (to help you scout out finding an oasis of your own) if you wanted to stay in, but also provided information of the local area if you wanted to go out an explore. We loved our time here and absolutely look forward to coming back!

A great getaway
Rikki and Jay are amazing hosts. The place was perfect to get to Lake Placid and snowshoeing. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the view from the kitchen window was amazing.

I vacationed in the Adirondacks for years before purchasing my first house in 2015 in Jay, NY. I work from home as a systems administrator and love to hike, snowshoe, ski, kayak, do home renovations, and most of all spend time with my family.

Why they chose this property

We purchased Yinzer House for the following reasons: We wanted a space for our family/friends to stay while visiting the Adirondacks, a place to work from home at (since my husband and I both work remotely), and a place to host guests at as well. When we purchased the house, we learned that the house was a motel years ago. It is pretty awesome that we are able to host guests like the previous owners did years ago as well.
