Great stay just outside the city
Feels authentic and less touristy than Paris downtown (also was not suffering the scourge of the garbage strike when we were there like DT Paris was - huge bonus!)
Flat was spacious, clean, and had pretty much everything we needed. A couple of minor improvements (mentioned to the host) will make this a 5+ accommodation; right now it's like a 4.8 (our only real complaint was the lack of privacy in the downstairs middle bedroom, hopefully this will get solved). Otherwise five of us had plenty of space to spread out and relax after long days of exploring Paris.
Location: plenty of options within a short walk for cafes, restaurants, take-away, bars, groceries and supplies. Five or six amazing bakeries to choose from in the morning within 5 minutes walk. Super easy access to transit: short walk to the M9 to take you downtown in about 25 minutes, or a slightly longer 15 minute walk to the RER A to train to Disney (Vincennes is also well worth exploring). The only downfall of the location is if anything goes wrong with the transit (strike or otherwise) getting to/from Paris can be a hassle.
We all loved our stay in Montreuil and would come back in a heartbeat!
