Great Vacation but Pool a Big Disappointment
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great for the three of us and the porch was wonderful. However, we rented this house because it had a pool which makes the house command a premium price. However, they said that we could not have the pool heated because the heater was broken. There was cool weather and the pool was freezing! After several calls, the company called a repairman. The pool never heated up adequately until the morning we had to leave. We never got to swim in the pool we paid extra for! My grandson was very disappointed. :(

Bead Cottage — Almost Perfect
Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at lovely little Bead Cottage several times. The pool, large screened-in porch and Jane Coslick- designed interior rehab makes it a sweet destination for a couple or a smaller family. But just a few small considerations by the owner/manager would go a long way towards ensuring complete guest satisfaction. Given the pool, as well as routine showering, more than the 5 provided towels for four guests would be appreciated (we called for and received extras). With beach proximity, even a couple of in-house beach towels and chairs would be appreciated by guests flying in, who instead have to buy or rent these small extras in addition to air fare, car rental, bike and cottage rental expenses. Finally, more than the minimal number of cups and glasses would be appreciated, particularly larger coffee mugs and taller drinking glasses. All of these minor irritations could be easily and inexpensively remedied, resulting a perfect guest experience! Thank you for accepting this minor constructive criticism within the larger picture of a wonderful experience provided in this lovely cottage!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd year at Bead Cottage, and I can't brag about the management company enough! Everyone from the reservationist to the manager was Outstanding and worked quickly with me on short notice to allow me to rent this home again. Cottage was very clean, as always, with some great upgrades - outdoor shower redone. We live in our swimsuits the entire time, either in the pool or on the porch. Even in 90+ degree weather. Will be back!
