About this property

Antique Apartment in the Heart of the Lakes Region

This downstairs apartment is in one of the oldest farm houses on Winona Road. Many years ago about 40 acres of surrounding land belonged to the family that lived in this house, over the years it has been developed but the house remained. The house is about 150 years old, possibly older as it is actually made from three buildings that have been joined over time as the families needs grew. This is not a new home, some floors slope, etc. It has been recently renovated so everything is pretty modern. There are two bedrooms, one has a separate entrance from the hallway. The two bedrooms interconnect with a lockable door. There is a small apartment above. There is a deck out back. Heat is provided by two Rinnai's and a pellet stove so you should never be too chilly. The owner/manager lives in a separate apartment in the house.
It is a very cozy place with a good amount of room and a great location near Meredith, Laconia's Motorcycle Week, Squam Lake, just down the road from lesser known beautiful lake Winona, Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad (can hear it from the house when in season), Plymouth State University, skiing, hiking, and great restaurants like the original Common Man, The Italian Farmhouse, Walter's Basin and others. The road is relatively quiet and the neighborhood is very safe.

Nice home and location.
This location is just outside of town and superbly clean. It was a great home away from home.

Very nice
Perfect for our long weekend visiting our daughter at Plymouth State. A little noisy from the people staying upstairs but not unbearable. Everything we needed was there and Dustin was responsive quickly with our questions Very clean and comfortable beds. We look forward to staying again next time!

What is listed and reviewed by other is very accurate!
We loved the rustic farmhouse fell and the quiet neighborhood. Super clean and perfect for a ski weekend to get away! Easy on and off from I-93 with some great local food places to grab. Cooking our own meals in the kitchen was also very easy as they have plenty of items to work with. And of course the home run was the K-cup machine…….. some choices on hand but we brought our own selections
