Horrible Check-In Process
Horrible check-in process. I was given the incorrect lockbox number by the host. Host had terrible communication & lacked understanding and not helpful. Too many lockboxes for different keys. The lock on the apt. door was ancient making it difficult to lock & unlock. Also stairs going up to apartment were wonky. We didn't get any towels except a dishtowel. Went to Target to purchase to bath towels for me & my daughter. Apartment was dusty. Good things: apartment had character, kitchen essentials, close to public transportation, good neighborhood.

Comfortable
Parking was easy, reasonably priced, and close with Spothero. We parked under the El and you are given fair warning that it is likely that your vehicle will get dirty from whatever drips off the tracks. There are other options but it was the cheapest. I just got a car wash when I got home. We stayed from Sunday-Thursday and had a spot every day. The keys were difficult to use maybe operator error but we tried each key a couple times before we got them to work. But they worked so its not really a complaint. The apartment looked and smelled clean. The bed was comfortable. We werent able to upload our netflix or Hulu despite the tv being a smart tv, which we found odd. They provided shampoo, conditioner, body soap, 2 towels and 2 hand towels. The kitchen is small but it was perfect for me and my friend. The only thing was there wasn't a sponge to wash dishes and the drain backed up a bit. The shower had good pressure which i loved Im 5'4" and the shower head was above my head but not by much (just an fyi for the tall people) There is plenty of places in walking distance to eat if you dont want to stay in and cook. The El goes by often (my guess every 15-30min) it didnt bother us or keep us awake but if you are a light sleeper its possible that it will wake you or keep you awake. There is a ceiling fan for a little white noise it might help. There was a fan in the closet too hopefully they will replace it since it was broken. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would reccomend this for groups of 2.

Great location, good value.
Great location for visiting Chicago, in spite of the usual severely limited street parking problems. Close to the L; you can even hear how close it is. Comfortable and very secure apartment.

Northside BnB
I was in town to watch my brother run the marathon and this the perfect set up. Very conveniently located near the red line as well as restaurants and bars. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with household and bathroom items. The A/C units and ceiling fans in both the living room and bedroom were also great to have as it was unseasonably warm for October. Sara was very communicative prior to my stay and checked in during my stay to make sure everything was good. I was very satisfied overall and would stay there again.
