Vivid Dreams by the Sea is a stunner of a beach vacation home! The owner totally reconfigured the home to open it up to become a spacious, welcoming location where you can let your hair down and enjoy the modern amenities. Plus, it is directly across the street from the Island View Casino and their All-You-Can-Eat Buffet!

Vivid Dreams by the Sea has wonderful touches of color through out that instantly put you into a happy mood! The huge kitchen with all appliances, washer and dryer, and fully stocked gives you plenty of room to have several cooks helping while the rest sit at the bar awaiting the goodies. The long sofa is so comfortable and perfect to stretch out and watch the huge flat screen TV. Kick up the footrests and snuggle in and take an afternoon nap after a restful walk on the beach. Or, you may prefer to spend time at the Island View Casino at the tables or slots to wile away the hours. Or, you may wish to fish. Whatever "floats your boat!"

The bedroom are furnished with super comfortable beds and quality furniture, a step up from traditional beach home furnishings. There is a king bedroom set, a queen bedroom set, and two twin bedroom sets. There are 2 bathrooms and a new washer and dryer.

Located just a couple of blocks from downtown Gulfport where there is a micro-brewery, many restaurants and pubs, and all types of available food types, this provides a perfect point for heading out to all sorts of activities. The new aquarium is in Gulfport and is counted in the top 10 in the Nation!

The local harbors have deep sea charter fishing, shrimp boat excursions, a river boat excursions, Biloxi Schooner trips, a ferry to Ship Island, dolphin cruises, and then there is the local water park, the model train museum with 2 million Lego trains, museums, art studios, antebellum homes and a presidential library, boutique and outlet shopping, plus tons of restaurants. Then again, you might just want to chill at the beach and work on your tan!

Fun and Clean Space for a Weekend Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We didn’t spend much time at the home, but it was fresh and clean and had everything we needed. It was 2 adults and 3 kids and we all loved the playfulcolors. The neighborhood was quiet, other than the train, but anywhere you stay in Gulfport, you will hear it. It does share a backyard with the house next door, but it looks like the house is undergoing renovations maybe; we didn’t see anyone there while we were there. We didn’t go to the beach, so I can’t speak to beach access from the house. The house is right behind the casino, so you can definitely walk there if that’s your thing. Several restaurants are nearby as well.

Charming, to Say the Least!
This sweet little ranch-style charmer was simply perfect. The Christmas holiday getaway was relaxing, refreshing, and clean. The home was as depicted in the pictures. Bright, cheery, filled with color, art, modern decor, and coastal elements! Loved the artwork. House was well stocked. Beds were comfortable! We extended our stay a few more days. I would book this property again. Easy access to everything, perfect location two blocks to the beach, stroll. Just behind the Island View Casino, easy walk as well, great dining restaurants less than a mile an easy hike as well! The surrounding area seems to be being revitalized, and no doubt, will be a quaint and attractive, and artsy addition to the Gulf Port scene in a few years. We felt safe. Check-in and out seamless! I am a seasoned traveler, extremely meticulous at times, so I have to give a few points that would have made the stay even better! There was not even a starter amount of laundry detergent, no paper towels, ice cubes? Not sure they were freshly changed; we bought ice anyway and did not use it. Didn't find a Pitcher? We decorated for Christmas, the windows needed to be freshly cleaned, we like the blinds up, the window tracks required to be cleaned as well they were dusty. A little more beautifying for the fireplace interior/screen? Backyard rug updating? Couldn't figure out local channel access in bedrooms? Landscape lighting, especially outback, new patio light, and better landscaping all around would put this rental an A+. Maybe consider opening up the driveway curb. The owners have done a great job, and I am sure they are making more improvements as I speak. Suspect the property remodel next door might be a sister property that will be great! Even with the tiny things that most could care less about, I still, please give it a 4.99999 upgrade the secondary shower faucets and head and add a full-length mirror somewhere, and you are there, there! 👑👑👑👑👑 Wonderful

Gulfport Thanksgiving
The property was better than expected. State of the art appliances, lighting, etc. Tremendously comfortable beds. And plenty of room for the 6 of us the eat sleep and watch football. Highly recommend this property and will definitely stay again next time we are in town.

Perfect Getaway
This rental had everything that we were looking for. It was really the perfect place to stay. Everyone loved it. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. The modern updates were perfect as was the cleanliness and homey feeling that this place had to offer. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful renovations!
This house was recently renovated and it’s absolutely beautiful! I love The open kitchen and counter space, the huge couch. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We did has some issues with the wifi so we weren’t able to watch TV during our stay, but considering it was right after a tropical storm that is most likely why but The owner answered right away and tried to assist with the wifi and even offered to come by to fix it! Since our stay was only two nights it was not that big of deal and it gave us more of a reason to have family game night! This was my first VRBO experience and now I’m not sure I’ll ever stay in a hotel again!! Everything was great
