Located less than 1 hour from DC and Baltimore our farm offers a great place to get out and get away. There is no traffic noise nor hustle and bustle here. Come relax in a cozy farmhouse with the ability to explore and enjoy 70 unrestricted acres. Feel free and walk out in the morning and gather fresh eggs for breakfast or fresh vegetables from the garden. High speed WiFi makes this space a great place to work remotely from for the day or week.
The space
Our farm has been in our family for over 100 years. We have 70 unrestricted acres that you can explore and enjoy. If you live in the city and just want to get away or you are passing through from outside the area this farm offers you the ability to get outside and live without having to sacrifice the modern conveniences of our daily lives. Feel free to collect fresh eggs for breakfast or fresh vegetables as a snack or dinner. Cook outside next to a campfire or just enjoy the stream, fields, animals, scenery and quiet life. If you must work make this farm your most favorite work area with beautiful views and high speed WiFi. We are about 2 miles from town with grocery stores, drug stores and many restaurants.

Only space for four to sleep
The listing says the home accommodates six guests with three queen beds. There are only two queen beds. We made a reservation for six guests, and the property owner pointed out a twin air mattress in a closet upon our arrival, and our sixth family member had to sleep on the couch, which had two broken supports in the middle and dipped terribly in the center. The kitchen does not have much for cooking. One very worn skillet and two very small pots, not enough for us to cook for our family of six. The house overall was worn and not super clean, and the property is full of abandoned farm equipment and junk. The owners were kind, but we were quite disappointed for the money spent. We wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

The host was very kind, but the bathroom smelled of urine and the floors throughout the house were very grimy. We ended up leaving a day early to go to another hotel.

Country House Getaway
Jason and Nikki are GREAT hosts. House is exactly as pictured. Super nice to have fresh eggs every morning. We will stay here again. Highly recommend, 5 stars!
