About this property

Fully Renovated Historic Home with bluff views of Missouri River & Valley

A front porch with a view that rivals the most beautiful in the Midwest. Our home is set in a lovingly cared for historic neighborhood perched on the bluff of the Missouri River in the Charming town of Atchison Kansas - Home of Benedictine College.
We renovated our home with families in mind, there’s plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and relax including three separate outdoor spaces Neighborhood amenities are plentiful, from access to walking trails or a short walk to local shopping, restaurants, and seasonal farmers markets. Our favorites include neighborhood grocery van Dykes, and the River House restaurant with a beautiful view of the Missouri River. Not to be missed is the nationally recognized Amelia Earhart birthplace home and Museum which is on the block

Fabulous home on the bluff
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home on the bluff overlooking the Missouri River. The home is beautifully decorated, with everything you could need. It truly does feel like a home away from home!

Beautiful historic home
We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean & comfortable. My father enjoyed sitting on the front porch, telling stories about Amelia Earhart's dissapearance.

Great place.
Description is accurate. It’s and older home with a recent and very nice remodel. Very close to Benedictine college and a nice view of the river. Hosts were easy and quick to respond. Will definitely book again.

Sister Time
We had a historic adventure through our mothers past. We learned a lot about the rich history of Atchison and some of the infamous hauntings! What a wonderful weekend to explore this charming town nestled between St. Joseph and Weston Missouri. Our accommodations were amazing. The view of the Missouri river was breathtaking. The home is so comfortable and inviting and beautifully decorated. The landscaping is gorgeous.
