Think about it
There's a lot of pros and cons of this place. Honestly I loved how far out it was in the mountains, the roads to it do suck but that's because they are gravel. A very cute little house, it definitely could be better. Check-in was super easy. At first any problems we had were answered straight away but after one problem never got fixed they completely ignored me. The internet was very slow, it was unusable but they were able to fixed that. The hot tub was the biggest disappointment. It was NOT cleaned, I repeat NOT. It has stuff growing on the side that was brown, sand all over the bottom with stuff floating around it. They sent the cleaner lady over and all she did was put a new filter on the hot tub and called it good. I told the host about it and that's when they ignored me completely, that was two days of radio silence. The washer dryer did not work, and there were crumbs and other stuff here and there in the house. So it makes you wonder if the hot tub isn't getting cleaned and the washer dryer isn't working are the sheets actually clean? We ended up sleeping on the blankets we brought. Oh and don't forget it smelled of sewage, it was very strong. After each shower or even brushing our teeth it was bad. They said they would call a plumber and instead sent the cleaner lady with a stick that you snap in half and put in the sink. The stove is gas, and when we cooked in it, it made the food taste like the gas. Over all it was a lot of problems and with the whole raido silence it spoke volumes. You definitely pay for what you get and honestly you should rethink this one.

You get what you pay for with this one.
When I first walked in the stinch if mold and mildew took my breath away. Immediately opened doors and windows. Went to use the TV's and got nothing. Hot tub was very dirty. The water was brown. The grass around property was high and definitely should have been maintained better. The 2 abandoned houses behind us was kinda creepy. Went to see if I dropped my phone in the couch cushion and found disgusting crumbs and dirty socks. Looked like it had never been vacuumed. Renter beware, if you are looking for cheap this is what you will get. We left early due to the stinch.

Quiet getaway
We enjoyed our stay here. An older place but kept up nicely. Very quiet ( except for loud noise of bear knocking over trash can). The bed was AMAZING, we slept so good. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the thunder and the bugs. It had most everything we needed. The hot tub was nice to relax in. I loved that there was a washer/ dryer combo. There are some food items in the pantry to use and that is nice. The only thing that could improve the stay would be a book giving information about where to fish and directions. We found the TOWLA Pavilion and it is very nice. We also went fishing about 15 min away at chilhowee lake. It is a nice pulloff area with docks and picnic tables. We couldn't get the wifi password to work and the DVD player in the bedroom was broken but we just used my husbands Hotspot and watched movies in the living room. We would love to come back again it was so peaceful. Our host responded fairly quickly whenever I had a question.

Short vacation was good
Was a good experience place was what we expected, cute porch, loved the hot tub and the mountains only thing that would have made it better is if it rained less, but over all we had fun.
