Premium Cottage With Amazing Vews
The subject property is new, smartly designed and well located. The size was perfect for our group of 10 during the holidays. The kitchen was well designed and equipped, the dining area was large and could handle our group and the living room area was comfy. However, the highlight of the kitchen/living room/dining room area was the wall to ceiling windows that provided exceptional views of the lake. All of the bedrooms were well appointed. Our main criteria for a cottage was premium feel, view, fireplace and hot tub, all of which were met by this cottage. If we had a few nits, they were minor - the fireplace required some adjustment (the landlord said he would inform future tenants of operation), the hot tub required refilling during cold spells (like any hot tub), The landlord is new and was responsive to our requests.

About the host

Hosted by Celine Singh

Host profile image
We are Graham and Celine from Montreal. Graham is originally from Ontario and works in the non-profit sector and Celine is a designer from France. After living in different countries for multiple years, we are now settled in Quebec with our 3 children. Our main home is Montreal and we built our dream cottage in the Laurentians in 2020 which is sort of our second home too!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with a gorgeous south-facing piece of forest on a quiet lake back in 2018 and finally just as the pandemic kicked off, we started digging on our land. We spent a lot of time, energy and poured a lot of ourselves into this property, designing the ideal cottage for us to host our friends and family. We had rental in mind from the start and dreamt up all the details with you in mind.

What makes this property unique

- lakefront with gorgeous views and a fantastic dock
- remote but still only 15 min away from all necessary shopping
- 2 master bedrooms with ensuite makes it ideal for couples to share
- a kids bunk room that childhood dreams are made of
- a hot tub of course!
