Great place, would definitely stay again.
The unit is spacious, nicely updated, well maintained and spotlessly clean, and the complex and amenities, including the pool, gym and grounds make for a very relaxing stay. The unit overlooks the pond and fountains which provide some nice greenery (unusual for the Phoenix area) and some background sounds. We had the windows open every night and the sound of the water was quite peaceful.
One thing I have to highlight: This is possibly the most well equipped rental property we have ever stayed in. It has everything we could have wanted, and more, for our 2 week stay. Pretty much all the kitchen equipment, cooking utensils, etc... that you'd find at home (Including some containers for leftovers or a picnic!!). An ample supply of linens including bath and beach towels, and dish washing and drying supplies.
The furniture is comfortable, including the couch, bed and patio chairs. We lived on the patio overlooking the grounds.
As previous reviews have mentioned a car is almost essential, but overall the location is great, and right in the middle of Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa and Phoenix. A huge bonus is the proximity to Papago Park across the road. A nice 5k fitness loop around the golf course and butes was perfect for our morning walk, providing some lovely views of the landscape and surrounding area.
Booking and communication with the owner is easy, and one minor issue we had during our stay was fixed promptly.
