Amazing home in the woods
I visited with my 2 kids, parents and in-laws. We had the best vacation. First, this house was very spacious, comfortable, clean and just perfect for us. We had fun playing ping pong and fooseball! The beds were comfortable. A bonus was that there is an extensive network of gorgeous trails you can access from the back yard. These trails were amazing- wide, very well marked, quiet, and beautiful. I highly recommend this house!!!

RENTERS BEWARE!!!!!
This house is the dirtiest place I’ve ever rented!! I rented for our family yearly vacation. We rented house on MLK Day weekend and we were suppose to stay from Friday-Monday. Unfortunately, the condition of house left us no choice but to cut our weekend short after ONE night. The kitchen counters had something on them that when I wiped them down left brown grim on wipe. Downstairs bedrooms and hallway had stains everywhere which was very unsettling. Living room furniture consisted of couch and two outdoor patio chairs. Basement reeked of must and mold. There was black spots on some of ceilings, not sure if mold. The last straw was the BLOODY soiled sheet on the bed. Removing sheet found Devils Beggarticks on mattress pad. Owners sister came by in am and we showed her pictures and she stated, “she hadn’t cleaned house because other sister was there at Christmas and said it was all set”. She said she was glad it wasn’t her fault. Offered to clean but by that time we had enough to last a lifetime. Could not stay there one more minute. This place is disgusting. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!

Beautiful Home and Wonderful Host
The home and property are beautiful. The house is well maintained and offers a great view into the woods. The yard is a wonderful place to spend time outside. You truly feel like it is a magical getaway. The host is kind and considerate. He responded quickly to any questions and was helpful in providing all the information we needed to have a great vacation. I appreciate the care that was taken to make sure we had what we needed during our stay. We all loved the home and hope to visit again--thanks to the host for a great stay.

Rural Maine Getaway
This house was everything we needed to relax and catch up with friends. This is a family’s real house (not just a vacation rental). The kitchen was very well-equipped for us to cook meals for a large group. The highlights were the yard, screened-in porch, fire pit, and living room. As a heads up, if you want to use the kayak/SUP boards, make sure to request that before your stay. We had no complaints and a great trip!

Great Spot
A lot of room. A cozy house with plenty of meeting areas for multiple families. Cards on the porch, bingo in the living area. I would recommend.
