Disappointing at Best
Booked this property since we wanted to be on the beach and parking. We were in town for beach week and parking of our wrangler without doors and roof was important. I called and confirmed twice that parking was part of the package and covering my vehicle would not be a problem. The complex does NOT have adequate parking. While the first six floors of the tower is parking, short term rentals are pushed to a neighboring lot with zero lighting. So when we arrived at 11:30 after the concert, there was no parking. I called the on-site management number and the Vacasa. Both said they would get back to me which they did not. After waiting nearly 45 minutes, an individual who was on-site handed me a card with a Denny’s symbol and directed us to park the vehicle behind the restaurant. When I asked about the cover for my jeep, he said the Denny’s symbol paper needed to be on my dash or it would be towed. If the posting for this property would have been accurate, I would not have rented this place. The part that kills me is there were floors and floors of unused parking spaces
While check-in was easy. The unit had some challenges. First there were cockroaches in the unit. The bathroom title was so dirty it was black. The bed was horrible and the couch felt like it had zero padding. Also, the pool, hot tub, exercise and most amenities were closed due to hurricane damage that was nearly two years ago.
The great problem was the complete lack of customer service as no one called me back.
