The traditional island house "Water Lily" was completely gutted and renovated with great attention to detail. The result is a very attractive mix of ultra-modern and exclusive living culture on the one hand and a holiday home on the other hand, preserved in its traditional island charm on the other.

The "Wattblick" apartment is on the mezzanine floor with a view of the unobstructed Wadden Sea side. Via a sunny veranda, a small staircase leads directly to the spacious living / dining area equipped with a high-quality kitchen, a spacious table and the comfortable seating area or TV corner. From everywhere you have a view of the magnificent panorama of the Wadden Sea. From this large living / dining area, the two bedrooms lead off with the comfortable box-spring double beds. One bedroom is also facing south with a view of the harbor and the Wadden Sea, the other bedroom is facing east. The large south-facing veranda or Terrace invites you to breakfast, dinner, sunbathing and lingering.
The rest of the apartment offers a modern bathroom with an outside window, an extra toilet and a small storage room.

Guests can take care of themselves in their cozy realm.

Since the construction season is on the East Frisian from October to May, we would like to inform you that there may be some construction noise.

Schöne, moderne und praktische Ferienwohnung
Sehr komfortable Wohnung mit allem was es braucht. Sehr nette und kompetente Betreuung vor Ort! Leider kleine Mankos: -Das WLan funktioniert nicht, -das Schlafzimmer liegt direkt zur Straße, so dass man alle Menschen (und Pferdekutschen), die vorbeikommen, störend laut hört -es gibt keinen Freisitz. Die Beschreibung und die Bilder im Internet erwecken den Anschein, als gäbe es eine Terasse. Dem ist nicht so, man sitzt also abends in der Wohnung, wenn man auf zwei kleine Kinder aufpassen muss.

Sehr schöne Wohnung mit kleinen Mängeln
Wir haben den Aufenthalt auf Juist sehr genossen. Es gab nur drei Minuspunkte, die wir uns anders gewünscht hätten: Die Wohnung hat zwei Badezimmer, aber dennoch nur ein WC - das WC ist lediglich in einen separaten Raum untergebracht. Die inserierte Terrasse ist zudem weniger eine Terrasse, als vielmehr der etwas breitere Eingang zur Wohnung, wo es auch keine Sitzgelegenheiten gibt. Und last but not least haben wir die Küchenausstattung für eine Familie mit zwei Kindern als nicht ausreichend empfunden - es fehlte eine Mikrowelle sowie genügend Geschirr. Wir mussten jeden Tag die Spülmaschine laufen lassen, auch wenn sie nicht voll war. Ansonsten ist die Wohnung aber sehr schön und wir sie auch nicht als zu eng empfunden.

Ruhepol mit Wattblick - Ein Traum!
Der Wecker war jeden Morgen das juister Pferdegetrappel, der beste natürliche Wecker! Wir haben es geliebt nach einem windigen Strandspaziergang komplett durchgepustet in die warme, gemütliche Wohnung zurück zu kommen, einen leckeren Kaffee zu trinken und mit wunderschönen Ausblick zu lesen oder ein Spiel zu spielen!

Die Wohnung hat insgesamt für uns so gepasst, nur die Schlafräume waren allzu Nutzungsoptimiert und hätten ein wenig größer sein können...Besonders nett war das Ehepaar, welches sich um uns und alle Belange der Wohnung gekümmert haben !!
