Welcome to Pinecone Lodge, a gorgeous sprawling lodge in the exclusive Northwoods neighborhood of Tahoe Donner. With four bedrooms, three bathrooms, beautiful outdoor spaces, and a private hot tub, this property is comfortable for a whole family or a larger group of friends to vacation together. This property provides a peaceful and relaxing home base in the Californian wilderness while still being close to everything that Tahoe has to offer. INSIDE THE HOME

As you step onto the main floor, you will be greeted by a large and bright open-plan living area that includes a spacious living room, kitchen, and dining room. The front patio, right off the living room and dining area, is perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks while enjoying the neighborhood views. Two guest bedrooms on the main floor behind the kitchen area boast queen beds and chic mountain and nature-themed decor. On the lower floor, you will find a cozy den and a guest bedroom with two twin bunk beds, perfect for kids who will love making this space their own. The spacious lower patio has a covered hot tub so you can use it in the winter and in the summer, you can relax in the outdoor seating. The upper loft provides an office area on the landing and a gorgeous primary suite with a king bed, an enormous walk-in closet, and a five-piece ensuite.

Please note: In the winter, snow tires and 4WD/AWD are highly recommended. If your car is not equipped with both, please be sure to have chains.

Located on the west side of the Tahoe Donner neighborhood, guests can easily access the Tahoe Donner Ski Resort, Tahoe Donner Golf Course and have access to the Tahoe Donner Association’s clubhouse! Both Donner Lake and Lake Tahoe are nearby, and downtown Truckee is an easy drive away.

Perfect Place for Our Family!
We had such a great time here! It was a great location. There was plenty of space for our family of 7, kitchen was fully stocked, hot tub was relaxing. We definitely want to come stay here again. One recommendation for other guests, if its the winter and snow is present, recommend parking 2 wheel drive cars at the top spots.

A magical stay!
We had the best time at this property in Tahoe Donner. The house was fully stocked with all the spices and condiments we needed for cooking. The reclining couch was a huge hit and we could have stayed there relaxing with the fire all day. The hot tub was super easy to work. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would return in a heartbeat.

Wonderful Ski Trip!
This property was well equipped with everything we needed for our ski weekend trip. My intramural soccer team booked this cabin for a skiing weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The living spaces easily accommodated group games and movies in the evenings. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for making group dinners as well. Definitely recommend and would quickly book again! You do have to sign a form separately with Tahoe Signature Properties which was a different way of doing things for me, but their customer service team as well as VRBO customer service were all very helpful and understanding during the reservation process.
