Berkshires Chic & Cozy, Historic Home Sleeps 10

*20% discount for month stays/ 10% discount for week stays automatically applied*
A recently renovated historic home with amazing nature views (perfect for fall leaf peeping!) and an even better location in The Berkshires hippest and charming town of Great Barrington. Feel like you're in the serene country while being less than 10 min from Great Barrington. This cozy and stylish home was recently featured in Domino Magazine for it's thoughtful vacation design touches!
The home sleeps 10 people comfortably (4 queen beds + 1 king bed) and with lounging areas for hanging out as a group including: a den with wood burning stove and piano, a dining room, a library nook, living room with a smart tv and sliding glass doors overlooking the natural wetlands. The eat-in kitchen features everything you need to cook for your crowd and seats 10 people.
The home has been thoughtfully outfitted to make working remote from The Berkshires a comfortable possibility. There are three desks including a private dedicated office space. Cell service (which can be spotty elsewhere in the area) is very strong and reliable in this house and there is high speed WiFi.
Enjoy the outdoors from the porch with a view of the back of Butternut Mountain (we're that close!) or sit in the backyard on the gravel area and fire pit. The perfect place for unbeatable star gazing on a clear night.
All linens are hypoallergenic and anti-microbial. Bedroom floors are brand new cork, naturally antimicrobial and sustainably sourced. Kitchen is fully outfitted for those who enjoy cooking. We provide local restaurant and shopping recommendations.

Perfect for a family
We were in town for a funeral and this was the perfect place for our 3 generations family to stay. The large communal rooms were great for us to be able to be all together.

Wedding weekend: Only 1/2 the family could make it.
I rented this house for some of my family and because of Covid, 2 of the bedrooms were empty. I didn't get to see the house but my 2 adult sons enjoyed their brief stay and said the house was clean and very nice. Patricia was easy and quick to work with.

Great stay, great getaway
Exactly what we expected for a mountain getaway. Tons of space indoors and outdoors. Well furnished, clean and lots of light. Really appreciated the fresh linens and full kitchen.

Summer Family Get-Away with Space for All
The house is comfortable with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, plus living/dining room and family room, plus outdoor screened-in porch and outdoor picnic/BBQ area. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cooking pots, pans, utensils, and even herbs and spices for cooking. The washer and dryer are huge. There is plenty of room for private time and rest. We like to hike and found access to the Appalachian Trail less than a mile down the road. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay.

Hi!

We're Jazz and Patricia and we are so excited to welcome you to our home in Great Barrington. We spent the summer of 2021 getting it ready for you and now there's a new coat of paint, new antimicrobial cork floors, all new furniture and decor and everything we would want in a country house for a cozy vacation with friends or family.

The Berkshires are so special and are more than happy to send over some personalized recommendations of our favorite spots.

Warmest Welcome,
Patricia and Jazz

Why they chose this property

Well, to start with, everything is brand new and very stylish! We wanted to create a vacation home that felt fun and fresh and had lots of different areas for hanging out - that's why we picked this historic property with a den (piano + wood burning stove), family room (smart tv + views of the wetlands), eat-in kitchen (with the little bistro area we created for cozy breakfasts together), a dining room and lots of outdoor spaces (including a brand new gravel area + fire pit + BBQ).

The kitchen is outfitted with all new cutlery, dish ware, pots and pans and cups, coups and glasses.

The property was even featured in a photoshoot for The Inside and in Domino Magazine.

What makes this property unique

Three work remote desks, including one private office area. We know how important it can be when traveling with a group to make it easy to work remote - so we added three desks and took a small room and turned it into a private office space. The WiFi is high speed and very reliable and the house has excellent cell service (rare around here!).

The house is 7 minutes from the Town of Great Barrington but it feels like you're in a remote country house, you can't see a neighbor's home from the property and we face the back of Butternut Mountain on one side and the protected wetlands on the other. It's Berkshires nature all around you in this home!
