Nice place!
*What we loved*: Spacious, pet friendly and sunset facing views! Nice to have main floor bedrooms for the older family members to avoid the steps. The house is right along a paved road for easy access. It was very cool to be near the cute general store for supplies and lunch. My son loved having the Xbox to play- very nice touch. Plenty of pillows and towels so everyone could have an extra as needed without worry. Nice decor. *What we would improve*: Didn’t notice the place didn’t have a/c in the listing! My fault but I wish it’d been more obvious. We stayed in July and it was quite hot (especially upstairs) several nights to the point it was hard to sleep. There were fans but airflow was not great upstairs. Other nights I am told it got too cold downstairs but the heat was not operational. The kitchen was well appointed but some cookware was flaky Teflon and knives could really use replacement and have more of them. It was a little hard for the elderly family members to get off the couch. You really sink down into that thing! The dryer takes about two hours to dry clothes, so plan accordingly. The deck wood was a little worn so kids should not run out there barefoot and the concrete footings for the deck were kind of cracked/crumbled looking - I decided to assume it was stable. For people with toddlers- the doorknobs are lever style and within easy reach of my 18 month old. Hard to baby-proof! Overall it was great and we would consider staying again in spring/fall weather.

Gorgeous view, gorgeous property!
My husband and I recently had the privilege of staying at this gem in Beech Mountain, NC. From the moment we arrived, we were taken aback by the breathtaking mountain views that served as our backdrop. A bonus was being able to unwind in the hot tub, soaking in the serenity and beauty that surrounded us. Another major highlight was the kitchen. Well-equipped and thoughtfully designed, it made every meal prep a joy. Plus, the range of amenities offered ensured that we had everything we needed at our fingertips. Our furry friend was with us, and we were beyond grateful to find a place that not only allowed our pup but also had ample space for him to roam and play. One minor suggestion for improvement would be the addition of an awning on the back deck. The afternoons can get quite sunny and warm, making it challenging to fully enjoy the outdoor seating. An awning would certainly enhance the comfort during those peak sunshine hours. All in all, this vacation rental is a dream. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a tranquil mountain getaway

Fantastic Home with Stunning Views!
A perfect home for a mountain get away! Amazing and unobstructed views of the gorgeous mountain range complete with stunning sunsets! Enjoy sitting in the hot tub or on the porch and take in the beauty of the mountains! Only minutes from Beech Ski Slopes! Finding a pet friendly home is difficult and this one was perfect! We all enjoyed sitting by the gas fireplace! Inside is beautifully decorated with updated appliances, very spacious bedrooms and great sized bathrooms! This home has a wonderful open great room with a spacious living room/kitchen/dining room entertainment space! Perfect for everyone to all hang out together! By far one of the BEST homes we have rented! We will absolutely be repeat renters! Thank you for opening up your home to us for a fun long weekend winter getaway!!

Large spacious home with nature at your fingertips.
Saw many deer throughout the neighborhood and several bears in the yard. The view from the deck is wonderful. It would be nice if the interior was focused on the view. The deck and wall of windows received full sun all day (great in the middle of winter for sure) but with that much sun and the very strong wind, it wasn’t possible to enjoy the deck as much as we wanted, and with blinds that didn’t fully cover the windows, the living space warmed up too much. The home is clean but in need of maintenance and with all the fussy decor, it’s not the best environment for people with allergies or asthma. We enjoyed the large open kitchen but the oven was too dirty to use. This would be great for larger groups. The home is close to the sky resort but it’s thirty minutes to a grocery store.
