Nice place!
*What we loved*: Spacious, pet friendly and sunset facing views! Nice to have main floor bedrooms for the older family members to avoid the steps. The house is right along a paved road for easy access. It was very cool to be near the cute general store for supplies and lunch. My son loved having the Xbox to play- very nice touch. Plenty of pillows and towels so everyone could have an extra as needed without worry. Nice decor. *What we would improve*: Didn’t notice the place didn’t have a/c in the listing! My fault but I wish it’d been more obvious. We stayed in July and it was quite hot (especially upstairs) several nights to the point it was hard to sleep. There were fans but airflow was not great upstairs. Other nights I am told it got too cold downstairs but the heat was not operational. The kitchen was well appointed but some cookware was flaky Teflon and knives could really use replacement and have more of them. It was a little hard for the elderly family members to get off the couch. You really sink down into that thing! The dryer takes about two hours to dry clothes, so plan accordingly. The deck wood was a little worn so kids should not run out there barefoot and the concrete footings for the deck were kind of cracked/crumbled looking - I decided to assume it was stable. For people with toddlers- the doorknobs are lever style and within easy reach of my 18 month old. Hard to baby-proof! Overall it was great and we would consider staying again in spring/fall weather.
