Good House & Location but poor service and cleanlieness
The overall property and house amenities are good but the cleanliness and property management is poor. Booking the place is easy but the property manager does charge a bunch of additional fees. One of the fees we were charged was an additional person fee which was charged correctly at time of booking but then we reduced the number of people a month in advance of our stay but they declined to reverse this fee which is completely wrong. Check-in was easy but upon entering the property it was clear the cleaning process was rushed and not done properly, all the towels were washed but put away wet, the house was tidy but not cleaned to a hotel like standard, and the lights in the main bedroom bathroom did not work. When we brought the electrical issue to the property managers attention we were told to troubleshoot it on our own and try resetting breakers and gfi's, again not what I would expect from a professional property manager. Turns out the electrical issues didn't stop there, the master bedroom bed side outlet also did not work and you can't have the bathroom light, fan, and something plugged into the outlet all at the same time. The outside string lights also did not work as once again the outdoor outlet was dead. All the bath matts were left in the wash machine when we arrived, so we had to put them in the dryer. The Property Manager never went out of the way to make our experience better or apologized for any of these things which was very disappointing.
There are positives about this place, the location is great, near to major road ways and downtown Gilbert. There are also toys /floaties for the pool and games for the backyard. There is a huge TV in the main room which is nice.
This review could easily be a 5 if the property manager was better, the cleanliness improved, and the electrical issues fixed.
