Caberfae Get Away
We really enjoyed our stay at the blue pine retreat! Nice amenities, awesome proximity to hiking and caberfae for skiing! We had a small hiccup in our stay and the property owner was quick to respond to our messages and to make things right! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful get away!

Cute and cozy!
Blue pine in was an excellent stay for our family of four (plus 2 dogs!). Great location, 15 minutes away from Caberfae Peaks and 20 minutes in to town for restaurants. Everything was as described and communication with the owner was great. Comfortable beds, good WiFi and amenities. The only thing we could find it to be missing was a toaster, not sure if we just missed it somewhere though. Will plan on staying again! Thanks!

Overall it was a fine house but it was our least favorite that we’ve rented. We’ve never stayed at a place that allowed dogs so we weren’t expecting dog hair to be on everything. The worst thing was the shower. It drains slowly and almost overflowed into the floor. I turned the water off unless I was rinsing but when I turned the water back on, it was either ice cold or scalding. When we used the hot water in the sink, it would come out steaming in seconds. I didn’t want to put my children through a shower experience like that. We could have used more blankets. I looked around but couldn’t find any. I did see rugs and stuff shoved under the beds along with lots of dust. Cobwebs were in the dining light, by the bathroom vanity, and where the wall meets the ceiling. Parts of the house didn’t feel clean but the sheets and kitchen were clean. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pans and cooking utensils. It even had a variety of spices and butter in the fridge. There was coffee and tea options. I brought everything I needed to cook but it was a nice gesture. Communication was good. We checked out early before I received a message with check out instructions. A binder at the house would’ve been nice. The location is near Caberfae ski resort but farther than I expected to Cadillac for restaurants. The neighbors house is junky on one side but the other houses are tidy. It was great to have internet and be able to watch movies. The cell service is minimal.

We stayed over the weekend just to get away from the city with our dogs. Not many places were available to accommodate dogs so we were truly grateful. The home had everything needed for a stress free weekend getaway. We will definitely stay again.
