First impressions matter
We were messaged that our house was ready at 4:12pm which isn't bad. But upon arrival half of the duplex smelled really strong of pee and some bedding was missing. Clearly the units were not cleaned properly. We noticed the floor was coming up in the hallway but not before my 8 year old and 4 year old tripped and busted their toes. A few days later that same half of the duplex had the AC go out in the middle of the night but maintenance came over the next morning to fix it. The maintenance guy was really nice and was prompt in handling the situation. The intake vents were clogged up with lent and dust, rats and roaches are all over the island so it wasn't just this property. There was also moldy coffee left in the coffee pot, mold in the cabinets and cups. I know staffing issues are everywhere but it doesn't look like this property has had the proper tlc in a long time. On the bright side, the locals and other tourists were really nice but we will never be coming back to this location.
