Beautiful Lake House on Cedar Lake

This house is on beautiful Cedar Lake with a Great Room, Kitchen, Kitchen dining area, Sunroom with a wonderful view of the lake, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The house is located directly across from the Lakeshore golf course and is a short drive to Lake Huron beaches.

It is equipped with the following appliances: full size fridge including a water/ice dispenser, electric stove/oven, dishwasher, gas grill, washer and dryer.

The kitchen includes pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils, flatware, glasses, toaster, microwave, and coffee pot.

There is a dock on the property that may be used and a public access ramp for the lake.

Oscoda is located near Lake Huron and the AuSable River with many golf courses, hiking trails, snow mobile trails, fishing, kayaking and canoeing.

Grumpy old men annual weekend
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The house was roomy enough for the 4 of us to spread out. Many positives; kitchen was set up with everything we needed. The owner even had basic spices in the cupboard. From the kitchen you could see the lake and all rooms that faced the lake had a great view. The property was located in a nice quiet neighborhood. We had a couple of nice fires at night by the seawall, very relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were good quality. The property owner was great, any time we had a question he answered back promptly. Bottom line, we would stay there again!

Great place on a nice lake
This place has lots of space, brand new carpet, and is reasonably close to town and lake Huron. Owner was very responsive when I had some questions, we had a great time.

Great home I was a bit disappointed in the way that u had to get into the water it was to difficult
The shower in the master bath was wonderful for disabilities however the toilet kept rocking back and forth and needs repair. Our vacation was wonderful and the home and patio area was great and all beds were very comfortable. We tried to call u about cleanup when we left. It would be good if u left a list on what u expected us to do. We washed all sheets and towels and left one batch in the washing machine.. thank u for sharing your home and it has so much room so all was very comfortable

Family Vacation
The house was perfect for our family. Very spacious, & quiet and its what our family really needed. The sunrise on the lake is very beautiful. William is a super nice guy and went above and beyond to make the stay an enjoyable experience. In all the comments requested he has added things to the house including the shades in the room with the trundle bed. Also, yes the house was very well stocked with the things you needed to get through the stay. It was the most well stocked house I've ever stayed in. Thanks William for all your help in making things happen on the trip. We will definitely consider returning for another great experience

Absolutely loved this place!
Beautiful home on a gorgeous lake. The place was clean, nicely decorated and well equipped! The host, Bill, is a super nice guy, and he made the check in process super easy! I would definitely rent this place again!

Great Place!
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as described and very clean. The master bathroom was a hit with the kids (and adults). My five year old granddaughter proclaimed the house a "dream come true"! :) My only suggestion would be to get a new screen door in the doorwall to the deck. Otherwise, everything was perfect. This is the most well stocked house I've ever stayed in!!!!

Excellent experience
We rent this house to spend 4th of July. We were four families 8adults and one child. The house is perfect as it seemed online. William is the most thoughtful, gracious host. He does answer messages really quickly and does his best to provide comfy stay. He provided us with all the information we needed. The house is just perfect! Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms are so clean and excellent. Location is incredible facing a lake with beautiful back patio. There was a lot of blankets, new sheets, bath towels, kitchen towels, paper towels, toilet paper, seasoning, garbage bags, laundry detergent, dish washer detergent, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, ....etc Everyone was so happy and appreciated everything :)

Fun family getaway
We enjoyed our long weekend trip at this Oscoda lake house. The space and layout of the home was just what we needed for two couples and four young children. The kids had a blast playing in the lake and the location was nice and quiet. We celebrated my niece’s birthday and had just enough kitchen basics to cook several meals and a cake during our stay. One suggestion would be to have curtains added to the third bedroom (with the twin trundle) - it was a little bright in the morning for our young kids, and older children or adults would benefit from some privacy in that room. A couple of the kids even slept in the porch, which cooled down nicely in the evenings. The grill and patio space was nice for outdoor meals and lounging, and the views across the lake were beautiful. A few questions came up during our stay, and we received quick responses from the owner. The large shower+toilet room in the master bath was also a bit unusual, though I imagine very convenient for those with accessibility needs. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I’d consider returning again!
