About this property

cozy Little House next to Pond w/scenic farm views. Pet friendly!

Come enjoy some great down time on the farm! This house is named after what it literally is- but there's also a full pavilion, fire pit, grill and a dock out on the water's edge. The house sits tucked into the edge of a pasture next to the pond. Little House on the Pond sits near the edge of our active cow ranch, you should expect to see lots of cattle and you might even catch a glimpse of morning chores.
*We can do farm tours upon request* This small house is best for a couples get away or some alone time to recharge.

Perfect for Getaway Weekend
My wife, and I took a weekend to get away from our phones, grab the dog, and spend some time together in nature with our phones turned off. This was the perfect place for it. Secluded spot with helpful, friendly hosts; Kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals; fishing was great; paddleboat was awesome; homemade apple pecan bread was fantastic (as advertised in other reviews); pup had plenty of area to run. A much need weekend away! We will be back!

Unexpected Find, Total Gem!
My girlfriend and I I’ve been living in separate states for a little bit. I was able to fly her in for a weekend. I wanted to surprise her and take her to someplace nice for an overnight getaway. She likes to fish so I searched “lake side cabins.“ Everything I found was either a condo, or in a Lakeside neighborhood. Not this gem! It’s a beautiful secluded cottage-like home on a large pond. It’s simply extraordinary! So very clean! The host is the absolute best! She accommodated every request beyond expectation. The price is more than reasonable! This is my new getaway.

Lovers getaway!!
My husband wanted a little getaway and go float the buffalo! I found this little gem less than 30 minutes of searching for a cabin. It is cute and chic! We enjoyed our stay! The best part was the paddle boat! The fresh baked bread was delicious! We would totally recommend staying. We definitely will be back with our 2 kiddos!

Little House on the Pond
If you are looking for a quiet, secluded place to stay for relaxation, this is certainly the place for you. The host, Lora, and her family were so nice, friendly, and helpful. The paddle boat on the pond was a plus for us as well as the fishing and watching the nature around us (cows, water birds, deer, and armadillo). They even gave us a little loaf of homemade apple pecan bread, which was so delicious. My husband and I and our 2 teenage granddaughters had a great stay there!
