Kahana Manor is located between Kaanapali and Kapalua. The complex offers a touch of old-world lifestyle with upstairs living and ground floor shops. Having a car is convenient but not necessary. We're right across the street from beach access. A few minutes' walk to "S" Turn Beach and all the sea turtles that sunbathe there. Playing in the ocean year-round is the norm.

BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. Beautiful condo but beware of noise from bar underneath
Condo was beautifully remodeled and well supplied (the pictures are accurate). Management was very responsive, however take the disclaimer on the posting about noise seriously as the condo is on the 2nd level directly above a bar that closes every night at midnight. If you go to bed before then or are a light sleeper, this place isn't for you as people linger and socialize outside the bar for long periods of time. You can't have the portable AC running in the main bedroom without having the window cracked but even with the window closed, you can hear every word of people's conversations and when people drink, they are LOUD and they don't leave. One night, there were 2 groups of people yelling at each other, which ended with a bottle being smashed onto the ground. Other than the noise issue (which to me is kind of a big deal), the place is great.

5 day stay
The property was decent. It can use a lot of upgrades. The king bed was supper uncomfortable. On day two we experienced no hot water the whole day ( should’ve been appeased) Management was contacted and the next day it was fixed. However, super inconvenient for the kiddos. On a good note, it was in a good area with no loud disturbance. It’s a street over from the beach. Few eateries walking distance which was nice. Overall, Maui was beautiful and we had a good time.

Walking distance to beach
This location was perfect for our family. It was walking distance to the beach. However, it was not super conducive for traveling with a crawling infant. The coffee table is glass which was a concern for our 11 month old. This location is also located right above a bar, which could get a little noisy in the night. The cleanliness also left a bit to be desired. When we first arrived there was some form of animal feces on the ground. We were eventually able to get in contact with property management. After we picked up the feces ourselves, they came and cleaned the unit. All though I would probably not stay here again, this is a good option for people without children.

Perfect condo for family of 5
We loved this condo. Conveniently located on Maui close to many beaches and great activities. Condo had a balcony to sit out and hear the ocean just a few blocks away. Condo slept 5 with two bedrooms, two baths and a nice sleeper sofa in the living room. Kitchen was fully stocked with needed pans and plates and everything else needed to prepare meals. Managers were very communicative with any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again!
