The 33’ dock is located next to a fish cleaning station, and water depth is typically 4.5’ to 5’. Boat parking is limited, and boat trailers must be attached to a vehicle if parked on the street. Boats can be launched on Jackfish Avenue (across from Ulberg Park). Swim at own risk.

Very, very nice place
Everything was convenient. Close to stores, restaurants, gas station, beach. Condo was spacious and comfortable with plenty of sitt8ng, and counter space. Quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay there.

Comfortable place on the island
This is a nicely-appointed, comfortable place to stay. It was clean on arrival, the shower was hot & A/C was cold, washer/dryer worked properly, and view of sunrise over the Gulf from the back patio was great.

Pretty good
Pretty good experience overall. The condo isn’t all that well taken care of and wasn’t cleaned very well when we arrived. But, it’s was an overall decent experience.

Great property and location
After reading some of the reviews we were a little worried. But the location was great, the layout was very spacious and the condo was clean and cute. The A/C was cold, the washer/ dryer combo worked great and amenities were nice. The fridge does take a while to cool and maybe a bring a blanket for the beds if you get cold easily, but other than that it was great.

What started promising turned south fairly quickly and maybe even dangerous
Upon entering the condo it had a great first impression. Very welcoming, roomy and 'clean-looking'. There was plenty of living room seating and towels for beach visit. There were issues that started to rear. First the fridge was not cold. It kept nothing cold. The freezer was a life saver although it had an noticeable fish odor, I was able to keep cold products in during my stay so as long as I took it out before they froze. Then to dry our wet suits and towels in the dryer after a beach visit the clothes dryer had no heat (hot air) circulating at all. After trying 4 different times complete heat/hot dry cycles everything came out as wet as they went in. Good thing for the balcony as I was able to lay out clothes and towels there to dry. The shower in the master bedroom had no hot water both times I took a shower. At best it was a mild lukewarm. There was hot water in the unit because the kitchen sink hot water worked but for some reason not in the shower in the master. Then as I showered I became utterly grossed out when I closed the shower curtain to find built up soap scum on the shower curtain. I kept it as far as I could from my body as I took the unexpected cool shower both times. The same built up soap scum was also found in the 2nd bathroom that was also used. I did my best to be a good sport and enjoy the pricey rental that it until the very last days as I was doing one final sweep around the unit just prior to our check-out that I heard a strange woman's voice in the rental. I peered out from the bathroom I happened to be in and saw a strange woman inside the rental at the door. As soon as she saw me she stepped back outside. I asked who was she and she said with an attitude, "I'm from Vacasa." I said, "oh, okay, this is weird, what can I help you with?' She then said, "it's check-out time, your suppose to leave." I knew I had at least 2 minutes left before the 10am check-out and told her, "I have about another minute or so and was doing one final sweep. I have rented form Vacasa before I never had anyone show up to tell me I'm supposed to leave." She then said and I kid you this is no exaggeration, "well then I guess now you have." As I did my best to keep my composure I noticed she had no uniform, no name tag, no I.D., she was dressed in street clothes and clearly agitated. Honestly she looked like she could have been possibly under the influence of some type of illegal drug use. I then said, "You can be anyone scouting these rooms in this area, you show me no i.d. or proof your from Vacasa." She then literally proceeded to cuss me out and I mean bad! I was visibly shaken and did my best to prepare for what she may do next. She literally positioned herself as if she was ready to physically fight. I was shocked and taken aback. After exchanging a few choice words for the sake of my defense she quickly walked away and continued cursing and swearing as she did. I saw a red pick up truck she stepped in and took a picture of the license plate. This car had no Vacasa logo or anything. After she left I quickly left to avoid any further confrontation from this stranger. As I started to drive off a few feet I remembered I left the door closed but unlocked in the midst of the chaos that unexpectedly came to my door and did not know if this woman and the person who may have accompanied them were robbers or what. So I took the chance to go back, take the key, locked the door secure and placed the key back in the lock box. After this experience I immediately called Vacasa 800 number and explained to the lady over the phone what took place. She was sympathetic and apologetic and assured me this would be communicated to the operations manager in the area and that they would give me a call. That was yesterday 8.10.22 at approx 10:15am cst. It is now 8.11.22 at 2:05pm cst and still no follow-up. This experience left me sick to my stomach and extremely sad.

Tolerable for a short stay
This unit is in a great location and has three bedrooms which is a plus. The outside patio is nice , and you can fish from the dock. We did have some issues. We discovered that the main toilet was flushing soon after we arrived. There was a plunger, but we should not have to use it every time someone goes to the restroom. We called Vacasa and a maintenance person was there within 20 minutes. He addressed the plumbing and the fact that the AC was not cooling correctly. He was friendly and said to call him if the problems persisted. The house never got cooler than 75 degrees and the toilet ran after each use, but we were only there for two days and we didn’t want to waste time dealing with repairs. The other issue was that the unit advertised that cable tv is provided. There was no cable. The living room has a smart tv , but the tv in the master bedroom was useless. The mattress in the master bedroom was awful. You can feel the springs . I have never stayed anywhere where the pillows were so flat . The quality of the linens and towels was pretty poor also. However, there was a nice beach bag with beach towels provided. It was also nice that each bathroom hand soap and the kitchen had cleaning supplies and paper towels. Overall, it was OK for a short stay, but could use some updates. A final note, the light outside on the balcony was not working.

Overall I was very pleased! The only recommendation is to review all smoke detectors, one of them I had to remove it was going off on the middle of night. It was blinking red , left a note for maintenance. Also check them all the one I removed is over 18 years old. Manufactured date. Does not mean they don’t work but for consideration. Thank you and other than that all was great 👍🏻

Corpus Christi vacation
Great location! Lots of room. Nice being on water and close to everything on the island. Good close parking. Very clean. Only problem was the dryer did not dry. Had to run several cycles and ended up not washing anymore during the stay. Overall good rental.
