**A real gem with great surrounding views. When you walk in you are welcomed by a quint seating area where you could enjoy your favorite book by the window. Area leads into the dining area nestled next to the wood burning stove and full kitchen. You are within walking distance to the local shops and eateries. Take some time how to hike the trails or visit nearby lakes. The residence is just 15 short minutes from Cuchara, home of the stunning Spanish Peak Mountains.

Charming escape
We stayed here in preparation of our daughter’s wedding in Cuchara. La Veta was a charming town with so many classic qualities. We didn’t have to wonder far to find everything we needed. Great coffee shop down the road, wonderful restaurants, and loved the grocery in their historic downtown. The house offered plenty of space to sleep, while providing comforts of home to prepare meals, entertain and just kick back to unwind from our wedding prep. Thank you for a wonderful week

Family time in La Veta
The house was comfortable and fit all of us(10). We ate outside on the patio in the sun. Quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. If we needed anything the property management was quick to help. I’d stay there again

Great place to stay if you have a large group, the basement makes up for a lot of space, so the place looks small, but its a good size place overall.
