Anchorage Away
We were looking for a home base in Anchorage for our Alaska vacation and this house was perfect. It is up on the hillside and about 20 minutes out of the downtown area. But the views are amazing and we were able to see some moose in the neighborhood. The kitchen was well appointed and the family room was a great place to gather in the evenings after long days of adventures.

Beautiful views and went out of the way to add a birthday Balloon to add a little surprise for my son’s Birthday. Would recommend working with Elena very kind and an easy process!

Perfect Location, Gorgeous Views
We had a wonderful first-time visit to Alaska thanks to this vrbo property and host! The location is absolutely perfect — an easy drive from the airport and easy 20 minutes to downtown Anchorage for all the restaurants. You’re close enough to everything while enjoying gorgeous views in the quieter Bear Valley neighborhood. And while every spot provides an incredible view, our favorite was out the kitchen sink window! The house provided ample space for my husband and I plus my parents. We especially enjoyed taking advantage of the kitchen for breakfast at the house. Elena was wonderful to work with. We rented her vehicle, and she was able to accommodate our late departure time with a later checkout. All my random questions were answered in a breeze. We hope to return and will definitely look to this property again. Highly recommend for your adventures in and around Anchorage!

Wonderful!
We’ve stayed at several vacation rentals and this was by far our best experience! Having lived in the Anchorage area years ago, we knew the high hillside location would be outstanding for its convenient, yet quiet location and view overlooking Anchorage, Cook Inlet and the mountains beyond. But it was even better than we could have ever dreamed. The house itself was EXTREMELY clean and the furnishings were all current and very comfortable for our family of six, which included teens and their parents and grandparents. We loved the wide-open spaciousness of the main floor and the kitchen was equipped with very modern appliances. As host, Elena was beyond accommodating and absolutely great to deal with. All this made our wonderful Alaska vacation perfect!
