Lakeside Haven

Welcome to Lakeside Haven in Rockaway Beach! This gorgeous, three story townhouse offers three bedrooms and two and a half baths, making it the perfect location for up to eight guests!

Upon entering Lakeside Haven, you'll find yourself downstairs near the garage, which has a ping pong, air hockey, pool table and darts for some fun out of the sun!
The second floor offers plenty of natural light, as well as an incredible view of Lake Lytle from the balcony. Sit outside with a glass of wine after a long day exploring Rockaway, or watch the sun rise over the mountains with a hot cup of coffee and a light read. Relax in the spacious living room around the gas fireplace while enjoying a movie, Wi-Fi streaming entertainment, or choose from a wide selection of board games.

The dining room table lies adjacent to the living area with seating for up to six guests. Additional guests, or just the kids, can enjoy their meal at the bar in the kitchen. The kitchen has everything you and your family and friends need to whip up some quick and easy meals during your trip with us.

Head up to the third floor, and you'll find all three bedrooms. The master bedroom offers a stunning view of Lake Lytle and the mountain range right from the bed or balcony. You'll also have a private bathroom complete with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom also offers a queen bed, while the final bedroom offers a twin bunkbed along with a twin/full bunk bed. This third bedroom is perfect for any children in your group. The third bathroom is located in the hallway with a shower/tub combo. The washer and dryer are also located on this floor, so feel free to pack light for your stay and wash clothes as needed.

Outside, you'll find a back deck, hot tub available for guest use, and a serene garden overlooking the lake.

Seven miles of sandy beach are just a few minutes away! Twin Rocks loom up from the waves, and nearby, buried in the sand, lies The Emily Reed, shipwrecked Valentine's Day, 1908. For over 100 years, after big storms, her wooden hull is occasionally revealed in the sand at low tide. Explore downtown Rockaway Beach with its antiques, souvenir stores, and restaurants. Bring your family, your friends; enjoy a rejuvenating break on your own, a small retreat group, or a romantic getaway, any time of the year, at Lakeside Haven with Oregon Beach Vacations!

This home is not pet friendly so please leave your pets at home, or make other arrangements for them.

Renters Beware Not AS ADVERTISED
So very disappointed that what is listed and what worked at the rental was misrepresented. This house was supposed to be a 4-night relaxing stay mid trip, a place to relax and catch our breath as we explored the coast. Had hoped to grill and chill but opened grill to find a note telling us it was broken. Had hoped to relax in front of the fireplace but it also didn't work. The WIFI also didn't work till we contacted the property managers. The managers were aware that the grill and fireplace were not in working order, we were told they would "try" to get some out to fix the fireplace and would it be ok to have a workman enter the rental if we were not there, for obvious reasons we weren't comfortable with this but agreed because the fireplace was one of the reasons we chose this rental...no one showed. It is VERY misleading to advertise broken amenities!

Great beach get-away!!
The place was perfect for our family vacation. The location and house were great. The only reason for the four stars was that the barbecue needs to be replaced and only two of the 3 parking spots were available.

Awesome experience!
Thank you guys so much for this stay! The house is well equipped, nice and big for a big family event. Love the area, nice and quiet and super easy access to the beach!

Good spot near the beach
Overall this place had everything we needed for a family of 5 (ages 17+.) Great espresso truck next door, although also crowded. Don't look for food / restaurant after 7 pm, anywhere near here! Game-changer: Heated floor in master bath! The negatives of the property itself were minor: - Road noise at night with windows open - Furniture, countertops pretty nicked up - Porch chairs rickety and rusted - Listing indicated 2 beach chairs; there were none - Struggled to open key lock box, then couldn't do it at all upon leaving property - Only 2 wine glasses (?!) - Master sheet had a bloodstain on one side - Master curtains stupidly difficult to open and close We stayed for the beach. And the beach. And the beach. So to be close by - with an epic July 4th fireworks extravaganza! - was worth it all.
