About this property

Private, peaceful mountain cabin in the woods with pretty views.

Our little quaint Cabin is located in Brasstown NC, off the beaten path in the woods, yet not too far from town. Approx. 10 miles in either direction to Murphy and Hayesville. 20 minutes to Lake Chatuge for all of your water sports. Just 10 minutes away is Fire Creek Falls which is a beautiful drive and a hidden gem. It has a little waterfall in the forest with trails, where children and adults can paddle in the river and fish. The road up to the cabin is a winding gravel road and the cabin is the last one at the top of the road. It is private, peaceful, in the trees and has lovely views with a wraparound deck to enjoy them. The stars are amazing on a clear night, not to mention the sunsets! The cabin has everything you need for your stay.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Great place!
My family stayed here to enjoy the beauty of western North Carolina for Thanksgiving and it was perfect! The cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beds were comfortable, and best of all the entire house was very clean! We loved sitting on the deck and seeing the deer, raccoons, and birds while enjoying the view. The cabin was close enough that we were able to spend some time in North Georgia as well as check out Franklin, NC. The only downsides were the internet was not that great (but we had good cell service), and the driveway was steep which gave my 2WD suv a little bit of trouble the first time we drove it. The next time we are able to come visit western North Carolina I will definitely book this cabin!

About the host

Host profile image
Kevin and I are originally from England but have lived in the US for many years.
Our primary home is in a busy coastal town which we love but we also love getting away from it all to our quiet, peaceful mountain cabin.
We wanted to become hosts to give others an opportunity to enjoy our cabin as we do, at a reasonable cost when we aren't using it.

Why they chose this property

We chose this cabin so that we can make family memories most of all.
Secondly because of its ruralness, lovely views and peaceful setting in the woods.

What makes this property unique

Our cabin is in a pretty, peaceful, private location in the woods. It's a great getaway with everything you need. Off the beaten path yet close to towns. There is a lot to explore in this area of North Georgia and Northwest Carolina.
Rivers, streams, waterfalls, lakes, quaint mountain towns!
