As you enter you will be greeted by the light and airy living space. Kick up your feet after a fun filled day on Maui, complete with convertible sofa, flat screen TV, and ceiling fan. Spend your days relaxing on your private lanai, with seating for four. Take in the lovely garden views.

Eat in! The kitchen is fully equipped with plate ware and utensils as well as all of the cooking items any chef would need. Enjoy dining al fresco on your private lanai or the quaint dining area.

The charming guest bedroom brings the tropical feel in with beautiful linens and twin beds. Guest bath is conveniently adjacent with tub/shower combo. Primary bedroom features Queen bed for the perfect night's rest, with flat screen TV, ceiling fan and en suite bathroom.

Stackable washer and dryer allow for lighter packing.

Kihei Akahi is situated on six and a half acres of beautiful lush tropical grounds, with two great swimming pools, 4 large gas BBQ's, and a tennis court. You have everything you need with an activity reservation center, property office and library on site! It's location is ideal with beautiful beaches right across the street! Shops, restaurants and more walking distance from your unit.

The location is ideal. Across the road from Kamaole 2 beach, walking distance to shopping, and central to travel. We've stayed in West Maui before but didn't enjoy the amount of travel to explore other beaches and towns. If you like to explore, Kihei is ideal. The unit has a garden view lanai with a beautiful view of Haleakala. We didn't miss air conditioning with the main door screen and the cross breeze from the lanai. The additional fans made the rooms comfortable in the high 28-29 degree (90s) heat. It accommodated a family of four nicely. We were greeted with plenty of information to get us settled amid a bowl of Hawaiian goodies. The unit was very clean. The bathrooms are in need of an update, but we were not in Maui for the unit bathrooms! We would definitely recommend and plan to return, if possible, on our next trip.

The property showed signs of typical wear and tear associated with its age, but was very clean. All essential amenities were thoughtfully supplied, including cooking utensils, condiments, bathroom toiletries, bath and beach towels, as well as laundry and dish detergent. The property is conveniently within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, cafes, and a general store, although you may need to drive approximately 5 minutes to reach the nearest grocery store. Only noticeable problem was no A/C unit, which was not a big deal. Overall, our stay was thoroughly enjoyable with no issues to report
