About this property

Beary Relaxing Cabin - Big views, two kitchens, hot tub, game table

Welcome to Beary Relaxing Cabin!

Centrally located under 15 minutes from both Boone and Sugar Mountain, this log home is perfect for your family or friends to enjoy. On the main level, you'll enter near the kitchen with its large granite island and ample counters for prep work. It opens to the dining and living space, with table seating for six inside of the home and another six on the deck. The gas log fireplace is surrounded by sofas and chairs for your group to gather for an evening catch-up or to watch your favourite movie or show. Two bedrooms are off the dining area, one with a queen bed and TV, the other with two twin beds. Between then two is a beautiful bathroom with large, tiled shower with a bench and grab bars.

Upstairs is an open loft with seating and games. The upper level bedroom is a spacious room with views overlooking the deck with two rustic log, queen beds and a TV. The lower level features a game room and second kitchen. The 4 in 1 game table is ready for pool, air hockey, ping pong, or foosball. The fourth bedroom is off of the second kitchen with a twin over full bunkbed and private bath.

On the main level deck, enjoy big views of the profile of Grandfather Mountain. Sit day or night on the covered deck with seating around the fire table. The open deck has dining seating and wraps around to the front entrance. Off the game room is the lower patio with more seating and the 12' by 8' hot tub. There is room for the whole group!

Additional Notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not require owners to provide hair dryers.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- Check In after 4pm. Check Out by 10am.
- AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months for any home in the area, and chains will be necessary in times of heavy snowfall. The driveway is flat and gravel, but the last 1/4 mile is a steep, paved road up.
- This property is dog friendly with additional rent of $25 per day, per dog plus tax. Mature, trained dogs, only.
- Repeat renters at Bears Repeatin' can receive 5% off. Not to be stacked with any other discounts.

Very nice!
This home was ideal for our holiday stay. With 3 floors, bedrooms on all it worked well with our family. Two kitchens really helped with the amount of holiday cooking we did. Only downside was the carpet on lower level very dirty, and the heat was so bad on the 3rd level was unbearable. A separate A/c system might be helpful as the fan did not help at all. Location is great, but very tricky/ dangerous getting out of the driveway.

Cabin Really hate to complain but when you pay almost $5,000 for less than a full week in peak winter season you do have some expectations… - fireplace took a min to figure out how to work, but we finally did, however the heat rises so high into the upstairs loft it made it unbearable… could never figure out the fan up high which might have helped…no remote for that, the switch says living room fan but it doesn’t work, the light does but no fan that we could see so it was uncomfortable..upstairs if fire was on downstairs - No remote for tv in main floor bedroom, the remote that is in there does not work or is satellite/cable only, either that or tv just doesn’t work - No water pressure whatsoever throughout the entire house for the entire stay, washed dishes and showered with a tiny stream (all 11 people) it was ridiculous - Tried to wash one load of clothes, they got sopping wet, took 4/5 hours to dry, washer locked and never unlocked - Burners on stove, some work, some don’t, it was difficult when trying to cook… - The floor is rotten with soft spots in bedroom on main floor with twin beds .. - No trash pick up it’s slap full with 11 people staying here, it says to leave excess in kitchen on floor prior to departure - Driveway is very narrow and dangerous to exit , although I’m sure that’s the norm around here to be narrow, there is a drop off and although we did figure it out, not very safe - There were a lot of towels for hot tub but not enough for showers for

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The view was amazing. The hot tub was huge and very clean upon arrival. We had a great time exploring around the area. Would definitely recommend for larger groups looking to stay in the area!!
