About this property

"Treehouse Cathedral" in Blue Ridge Mountains, NC

House (5+ days) Large, sunny open floor plan, huge windows, dramatic high beamed ceilings and beautiful views! Hiking trails on property - one to fire tower! Rivers, waterfalls, mountain vistas nearby, 30 minutes to Asheville, NC and Tennessee. Large fenced yard, fire pit. Two driveways/upper and lower level entrances. Two full bathrooms - one with tub, master has a walk in shower with seat. Washer and dryer, sliders to upper large deck, lower covered deck. Hilltop - trees all around!
Woodstove, all pine hardwood floors, huge kitchen island, very large ceramic sink, large refrigerator, dishwasher, 5 burner gas stove, 2 large tables with 6 chairs each, huge sectional with ottoman, and very large couch and loveseat with ottoman., plenty of parking for cars or multiple RVs, UV and filtered water system, on-demand hot water, A/C in living area, ceiling fans in most rooms, Keurig, blender, toaster, microwave, dishes, silverware, plates/bowls, cups, towels, and linens, outdoor security lights, 4 minutes to quaint town of Burnsville - restaurants, shops, grocery stores, town square, park/playground with outdoor pool. Bedrooms have memory foam queen mattress and Sealy full mattress. Master bedroom Sealy queen mattress. Twin daybed and full size bed on covered deck. Cable tv in sunroomcm, master bedroom, and second bedroom. Fresh home-grown herbs, vegetables, and flowers in summer and fall. Propane and charcoal outdoor grills - one on lower covered deck, one on upper deck. Gates on all decks and stairs. Dogs only.
ONLY 2 BR Camper with water, stove and frig and use of bathroom and porch in house available for $150/ night!
NOTE: the house is listed for November - which could be either warm or cool in North Carolina! If it snows. it usually melts by late morning, but you will not be able to drive up or down the mountain driveway! If "weather.com" announces snow or ice overnight, you can, however, park at the bottom and walk 1/8 mile uphill.
In addition, there is a mini split and a woodstove in the large room upstairs for heat - if it's very cold (under 25 degrees or so), you may need to light a fire - the large TV room upstairs has its own heat and all the bedrooms downstairs have their own heat. I rarely use the woodstove as the mini split heats up well.. This is mountain country living!

Road and driveway is windy and a bit steep.
One small step to get into house (drive up) on both upper and lower levels and to upper deck. No stairs to enter lower deck. Stairs to enter fenced yard. Shady area under deck in fenced yard for dogs.

Golden-Winged Warbler habitat (petitioned to be endangered species!)
