Don't forget to add a boat rental to your stay to get the most out of your Lake Norman experience! We have partnered with a nearby marina to provide our guests with brand new tritoons - delivered right to your dock for your ease! Just ask us about boat rentals and we will arrange for one to be delivered to you!

*** Please note that the pool will be under construction/installation from January through May 2024. Please take this into account when making your booking.

Memorial Day Weekend
Overall this was a beautiful home. Plenty of space, entertainment, outdoor fun, easily accessible to surrounding stores and check in was super easy. The downfall of the place was there was dead gnats everywhere and multiple bugs (I’m assuming because of the weather and lake). Also a few things did not work while we stayed but it wasn’t bug enough to complain about because our overall experience was great. However, the television outside by the pool didn’t work, the heat for the hot tub wouldn’t work and the washing machine wouldn’t work. What I can say is, they are prompt with getting someone out to fix things. I mentioned the washer because I was going to help the cleaning people out and start washing things, but by the time our festivities for the day ended it was late. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Birthday Celebration
Great view. Lots of space. The master closet is also a baby nursery. So if you have an infant would be convenient. Large kitchen. Lots of beds downstairs with some video games. Internet service is not very good at the lake, so make sure you have a hot spot on your own devices.

Family Christmas
This was the perfect place to celebrate our family Christmas. The property management team was FABULOUS! They are so responsive and friendly. The house was gorgeous. If your family loves to cook and make memories this is the PERFECT place! We had 3 generations - 6 adults, 3 teenagers, 2 toddlers and 1 fury baby and we had plenty of room for everyone. The house was designed to meet everyone’s needs from gaming, arcade games, cooking, fire pits outside, fenced in yard and much more. We will definitely be back! Thank you Southern Charm for helping us make wonderful family memories!

Annual UGA football at the lake
This is a lovely house with a wonderful layout for a larger group. Property is really beautiful with so much included - the game room was a hit with everyone! Only small critiques - a ladder into/out of the water on the dock and an additional dishwasher. All in all a fantastic weekend at "A Good Distraction" and an outstanding Georgia win!!
