Family Tides is a hidden gem, from the quiet low density complex, to the breathtaking sunsets from the pier. The unit is tastefully decorated in coastal décor, and furnished with plush furniture for pure comfort. The home sleeps 8 with a king size bed in the main bedroom and 2 queen beds in the guest room. There is a sleeper sofa that will sleep 2 comfortably. The pier offers 3 swings to take in those magical sunsets, and a fish cleaning table. The boat slips are first come first serve. There is deeded beach access right across the street for easy access to our sugar sand beaches.

Come sail away!
Property has problems. I understand structures on pilings are meant to flex but every time the outside a/c unit roars on it seems to slightly girate the whole house. We just got home and I feel like I’ve been on a cruise ship for a week. This unit has electrical problems as well, dishwasher had no power, garbage disposal didn’t work and the smell of ozone filled the unit after flipping breakers to get things to work. I expected a higher quality of property booking through Robert Brothers they should be ashamed of charging premium prices for this sub par unit. Do not recommend.

Electrical Issues
The property had a bad circuit causing none of the outlets in the kitchen or downstairs bathroom to work. You could use the bathroom downstairs without the door open because the light would not work. We had to use the toaster from the floor in the den. I reached out to the property manager and never heard back. The place was great but would say the management company didn’t care because it was a holiday weekend.

Unsafe lodging/ no deadbolt on front door
We stayed in Unit E. 1) Unit E had NO deadbolt lock on the front door. That is the main take away I want everyone to know. The manager claimed that 98% of properties do not have a deadbolt and only a combination code. This was not true as 100% of the rest of our baseball team (12 other families) all had deadbolts. One family was even staying in the EXACT condos we were and they had a deadbolt. 2) The backdoor deadbolt didnt work. The frame of the door was broken. It looked like someone tried to break in and so the bolt would not lock. The only lock was the handle lock. 3) we were not informed that the stove wasnt working so we walking into a condo that had a 2 burner camper stove ontop of the stove for the condo. 4) picture frames were missing on the walls and the nails that held them up were sticking out of the wall, all along the stairway. 5) the stairs banister had a missing/broken banister so there was a rather large gap. The stove and other small issues could have been looked over if the condo had actual locks and locks that worked. Because of the locks we did not stay at the condo! Our kids showered quickly as we talked to someone from management about our concerns, because we had a 10 hour drive, and we left! BE WARNED IN UNIT E THAT THERE IS NO WAY TO LOCK YOURSELF INSIDE! Anyone with a code can let themselves in at any time!
