About this property

Quiet Apartment in the Woods

Enjoy staying in a quiet neighborhood in the woods on the south side of town. We have renovated our large home so that we now have 2 apartments with separate entrances, all on the same property. If you are traveling with others, consider renting both spaces to accommodate a total of up to 14 people. (Family Friendly Apartment sleeps 8)

This brand new apartment sleeps 4-6 people. There are two bedrooms with king beds and a living room sofa that pulls out to make a double bed if needed.

We are 20 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from shopping in one direction, and 10 minutes from the mountains to the east and 5 minutes from the ocean going south of town.

The bathroom has double sinks and a separate area for the toilet and shower/tub.

A refrigerator, full size oven with convection and air fryer features, a cooktop, microwave, sink and washer dryer combo are available for your private use.

Internet and cable TV are provided as well as ample parking.

Complimentary homemade cinnamon rolls can be available when you arrive if you are interested. Let us help you make your stay in Anchorage memorable!

quiet retreat
the apartment was such a nice spot, quiet retreat in woods. Perfect spot to just relax and work on my paperwork, sleep in and do what I needed to do. Bed was so comfortable, and had all amentities. Lots of supplies as well.

We stayed here for a week and it was easy to find. It was close enough to the highway for easy access. It was well stocked and all that was needed was food if wanted to eat end. And the cinnamon rolls were delicious. The host was very nice and helpful.

Family vacation

Beautiful apartment in the woods
This place is amazing. The hosts really go all out to make you feel at home. Definitely get the cinnamon buns, they were awesome! Hosts were super nice and communicated to us when there was a moose in the backyard to make sure we were safe. Also lots of moose near here! Awesome place!

Clean property, many amenities, beds are comfortable, but there are stairs to walk up, apartment is on 2nd level and heat control is in another part of building.

Clean, Cozy and Feels like Home
This quiet little apartment in the woods has everything you might need. It is very well-maintained, and accommodated with consideration for all ages. There are many places for people to sleep and Brian and Happy are willing to help you with anything you might need. They will even go grocery shopping for you before your stay! It is extremely comfortable after a day of adventuring in Alaska, and is also a calm place to relax as a retreat from the “real world”! We will recommend this location to anyone we know planning a trip to Anchorage, and we are already planning our next adventure and hope we can stay here!

Nice getaway outside of Anchorage
Nice little property to spend a couple days at outside of Anchorage. Rooms were clean, and Happy / Brian were super accommodating given the size of our family. Even gave us complimentary cinnamon rolls, which were a nice extra, especially for the kids! Would recommend to anybod to stay at this property.

Hockey camp
The location was great out of town but close enough to town. It took me 6 minutes to get to the rink. We got to watch a cow moose and calf for 24 hours while staying here, It was in the yard. The host was great! Very nice even had cinnamon rolls for us.
