Provencal villa "Les Cersisiers" with stone facade with stunning views over the blue sea of the Cote d Azur from Nice to Antibes and the famous climbing mountains of Saint-Jeannet - the Baous. Walking distance to the picturesque village of Saint-Jeannet with its restaurants and grocery stores. 25 minutes from Nice airport and the Promenade des Anglais with its beaches. 10 minutes to Vence and Saint Paul de Vence. German-Austrian Family rents the family holiday villa in the time when it is not used by itself. The villa with about 240 square meters has 2 floors.
Upstairs are the entrance area, the Provençal kitchen with Bosch built-in appliances (dishwasher and stove), a large French gas stove and fridge-freezer, the living room, which can be opened with panoramic sliding doors completely to the terrace and a guest bathroom. On this floor there are also the bedrooms of the owners, which are not rented. All rooms face south and open onto the 80 sqm terrace with a marble dining table for 8 people.
Via indoor and outdoor stairs you reach the ground floor with three bedrooms directly behind the swimming pool and a bathroom with shower and toilet and a bathroom with sauna, shower and toilet. The two rooms facing south overlooking the swimming pool have a double bed, wardrobes and a table, the third room is a multi-function room (game room) with a bed settee overlooking the boules court 2 people can sleep.
The villa is therefore ideal for 4 people, 6 people are certainly also possible - and has plenty of room for other guests who come to eat. Because of the many terraces, the villa is rather not suitable for toddlers, or requires just consistent supervision, which is anyway necessary at the swimming pool with parental control alarm.
On the ground floor there is the second sun terrace with saltwater swimming pool and counter current system, solar shower, space for 6 deckchairs and a pergola covered with wisteria with another garden table for 8 persons and a brick barbecue.
The villa "Les Cerisiers" is surrounded by a well-kept Provençal garden, which slopes steeply over many dry stone walls to the south. Olives, oleanders, cherries - from which the house takes its name, figs, wine, bougainvilleas, oranges, lemons and many flowers and herbs provide the scent of the Cote d'Azur. The villa also has its own lighted boules area, on which a table tennis table can be placed.
What the owners of this charming villa particularly appreciate is the incredible view over the Cote d'Azur - from Cap Ferrat behind Nice to Antibes and the islands off Cannes - in winter to Corsica. The sea, the coast and the mountains are different in every weather change - especially impressive at Mistral, where you can see up to 80 km. And at night you can see the sea of lights from the many buildings on the coast. Even after many years, this view replaces the television for the owners - which does not even exist in the Villa "Les Cersisiers". But Wi-Fi and stereo system are of course available.
The medieval village of Saint-Jeannet is a haven of peace above the sometimes hectic Cote d Azur in the hinterland of Nice, ideal for relaxing, enjoying nature and the sun and doing sports. Road cyclists and mountain bikers will find a paradise in the mountains, starting just behind the house. Within an hour you have the two local mountains "Baou" either on well-maintained trails or climb the challenging limestone walls with the highest levels of difficulty climb.
Saint-Jeannet is the ideal base to discover the Cote dAzur and its hinterland - beaches, medieval villages, the metropolis of Nice, Monaco, Grasse, Mougins with its golf courses, even St. Tropez is only 90 minutes away.
