About this property

Cozy Cabin in White Mountains - Chatham, Fryeburg, North Conway

Welcome to our 4 bedroom/ 1.5 bath lakefront 4 season retreat. It’s cozy and comfortable for any group who wants to get away to enjoy skiing/snowmobiling in the Winter, leaf peeping and hiking in the Fall, or fishing and water activities in the Summer. Our cabin is tucked away enough to feel like an escape to the woods but has very easy access to North Conway NH and Fryeburg ME for wonderful restaurants, shopping, and outdoor activities. At home, enjoy the fresh air, listening to the sounds of the Loons on the lake, and peace and quiet by the fire or on our terrace overlooking the water. If you prefer to get a bit more active, there are numerous trailheads nearby to hike or you can take out our kayaks at the house to explore all Upper Kimball Lake has to offer.
-
For the Summer season, our home is located on a 169 acre lake with a dock. Great for swimming and fishing. We have 6 different kayaks to enjoy out on the lake.
-
For the Winter season, our home is centrally located near Shawnee Mtn (27 mins), Cranmore Mtn (30 min), King Pine (38 min), Attitash Mtn (40 min), Wildcat Mtn (55 min), Sunday River (57 mins), if you want to hit the slopes for skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. There are also trailheads nearby for snowshoeing and snow mobiling. There is so much to do in the area for all ages and activity levels.
-
We can have recommendations tailored and prepared for every guest. Come relax, recharge, have some fun in the snow, cozy up by the indoor or outdoor fire, and enjoy the sunset from the back deck with water and mountain views. The house is equipped with two mini splits that provide both AC and Heat depending on the season.

The perfect getaway!
We had an amazing, cozy long weekend! Accomodations were perfect for our family. Dan and Monica were easy to communicate with and made planning our trip a breeze. Looking forward to spending time at the cabin in the spring/summer.

Wonderful stay with great Lakeview
Absolutely loved the view from the deck. The pictures in the listing don't do justice to the view (stayed there in fall). House had everything you'd possibly need for a comfortable stay - paper towels to kitchen utensils (pack light). The communication with the hosts was smooth and easy. Cozy stay overall - definitely recommend.

Great lake stay
We loved staying here! The lake and amenities were great. We had a great time exploring on the kayaks and hanging out with loons. The only complaint we had was that the lakehouse was VERY musky when we entered. We were all sneezing and coughing for the first day until it had been aired out. Even after then it wasn't the best, but for the cost we still were happy.

Peaceful getaway
This lake house was tucked away on a dirt road and there was little to no outside noise except the loons. It was perfect for a nice peaceful getaway and I really enjoying the early morning quiet with coffee on the beautiful deck. Traveling into N. Conway was easy and we loved going shopping and visiting the local farms. A great time and I would definitely go again!

Quiet retreat for friends or family
Our group of 8 chose this house for our annual get-together and had an amazing time. The house was clean, well-stocked and provided an amazing (pond/lake) view with beautiful rolling hills in the background. Truly a serene escape that offered us both privacy and comfort. Whether you kayak in the pond or take a short drive to the Saco River or choose to hike any of the many nearby trails, this house is located enough off the beaten path that you feel live you've truly "gotten away" while still being close enough to shopping, restaurants, etc. in Fryeberg and Conway/North Conway. As some of the other reviews noted, the cell service is almost non-existent (which was welcome for a week away), but the house does have WiFi so you're not truly disconnected. Two new splits (AC/heat units) also made the house comfortable on some pretty hot days. Lots of outdoor space for activities like corn hole and fireside hangouts too! Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and would certainly include this house as a top choice for a future visit!
