About this property

Secluded, Views, Relax Hot Tub Fun Arcade Gameroom

Welcome to The Alabaster House by hosted Lightfoot Stays Vacation Rentals, our secluded home among the trees in the Wears Valley of Sevierville, Tennessee.

Here in our wooded setting, you’ll feel far away while still being only 10.9 miles from Pigeon Forge. And 3 miles from Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Enjoy our modern farmhouse vibe and outdoor areas. From a deck and two porches to a hot tub and game room, we have great amenities for your group.

Slow down and connect with loved ones in our backyard which has a grassy lawn, little creek and trees as far as you can see (we’re on an acre of land). On the wooden deck, enjoy morning coffee as birds sing or BBQ cookouts with your whole crew. And don’t forget to look up – and marvel at the twinkling Tennessee stars.

Our screened-in porch also connects you to our forest setting – without any of the bugs! Sip cocktails on our sofa or upholstered rocking chairs, all beneath the soft glow of string lights. And there’s no better spot to bliss out than the hot tub after a day exploring Pigeon Forge, Dollywood or the Great Smoky Mountains. Our open-air front porch is another cozy nook with a swing and rattan cocoon chair. And beyond the house, you also have access to our community swimming pool.

Inside, our open living room and kitchen feel like home. Hang out in the living room among mid-century modern furniture, lots of windows and a white brick fireplace. Curl up for movie nights or play tic-tac-toe on our oversized board. A few steps away, our kitchen is just as cozy. You’ll find warm wood cabinets, pendant lights and sweet decor touches (cue the Magnolia Table cookbook). Plus all the cookware and dishes you need to make delicious suppers. As for seating, you can dine at the kitchen counter or our farmhouse table.

Downstairs, the game room and children’s play area offer a world of fun for everyone. Choose among air hockey, a basketball shooting game and a barrel arcade table with 60 classic arcade games. Board games? Check! We have Monopoly, Scrabble and more. Over in the play area, little ones can have fun with books, toys and a roadway play mat. There’s also a floor sofa for naps and a smart TV for watching animated shows or movies.

Our three bedrooms are soothing retreats where you’ll have privacy – and gorgeous tree views. Neutral color palettes set a calming tone while picture windows and sliding glass doors bring in an abundance of natural light. Each room has a plush king bed. And all these amenities: Crisp white linens, bedside tables and lamps, beautiful throw pillows, artwork, a smart TV and luggage rack. All bedrooms also have their own en suite bathroom (this is rare!) with elevated fixtures. In addition, our master bedroom has a desk area and opens to the screened-in porch. And the bedroom on the lower floor opens to the backyard deck.

You will be able to access the whole home as well as the backyard area. There is a small creek in the backyard and a little wooded area to listen to the birds to. You will also have access to a nearby pool.

This is the Wonderland HOA community in Wears Valley. It feels very secluded yet 3 miles to the Smoky Mountain National Park, 10.9 miles from Pigeon Forge and 7 miles from Townsend.

It is best to have your own car to be able to enjoy all the attractions near by. There is enough parking in the front of the cabin for two cars. If more parking is needed, there is room in front on the garage on the drive way.

1. Before heading in, screen shot the check in details and download an offline map for directions in case you do not have signal
2. There is a camera on the front porch and garage, pointed out for your safety
3. There are only 2 trashcans outside, any extra trash bags will need to be taken to public trash removal
4. Gas fireplace is only available between October 1st- April 30th

6. We have a monthly lawn service that may or may not occur during your stay
7. We provide a pack n play and booster high chair, but you need to bring your own sheets
8. This is a quiet neighborhood, so please keep that in mind when playing music or hanging outside. Quiet hours after 10pm
9. We are on well water and have a filtration system that comes on whenever you turn the water on. You may notice this noise more in certain rooms.

Christmas 2022
This is the best place we have ever rented in the area. They have thought of everything. Plenty of space for all if us and the grandkids and adults as well all enjoyed the game room. We will recommend this property to anyone staying in the area. Hope to stay again if we visit the area again.

Home away from home
We enjoyed our stay at the Alabaster House. It had the perfect set up for all ages. The kids loved the downstairs gameroom. The screened in porch was relaxing and quiet. We couldn't stay out of the hot tub. The state park was not that far of a drive from the house. The kids loved going there to play in the river. We will be renting this house again very soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Gorgeous Fall Getaway
My husband and I along with our daughter and her two boys stayed 4 nights at the Alabaster House. We found everything to be exactly as stated and pictured in the listing. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was wonderful for us all to have our own space. Although the home is remote, we found several good places to eat nearby, including Elvira’s Cafe, Paw Paw’s Catfish and Peaceful Side Social Brewery and Craft Kitchen (in Townsend). The weather was cool and crisp and the leaves were starting to turn. We hope to return someday and visit some of the local antique shops and hike in the Smokey Mountain National Park. April and Chase were great hosts and replied promptly to all of our messages.

Hello! My husband and I are entrepreneurs and have a 2 year old son. We love traveling, eating, photography, and the outdoors. We are very mindful and respectful of other people’s homes and take good care as if it were our own. We also host our family cabin for others to enjoy.
